Best choice of words? It's an out and out lie. Accusing someone of cheating is pretty different from anything you'd ever say about Urban. The worst thing anyone has to say about him in his time at OSU is he didn't fire Zach Smith when he should have, but saying he actually cheated is a different animal.

LOL oh okay. FYI, he and Herbie aren't comparable. Herbie is nowhere near as involved with OSU football as Desmond is with michigan. Not only that, but Herbie is notorious for doing everything possible to not appear to be a homer while Desmond has no problem with it.

No, him being an employee of the university makes absolutely no difference. His compensation is not tied to the football team's success, which only leaves his fandom and love for the program as something that could make him biased, something that is exactly the same with Desmond and michigan.

I’d like to add — Desmond Howard isn’t involved with UM football in the least bit and really hasn’t been since 2011.

Of course he played at UM, so he will always have love for UM. But he isn’t receiving a paycheck from them.

I’d guess he has been back at UM more for game day than he has to be part of something for the football program.

I can think of twice he has been back at UM for something with the program since he left. The recruiting party in 2016 and when he was inducted into the HOF in 2011.

Anyone who thinks Meyer should have fired Smith is an idiot. His family was already troubled, lots of issues for both of the spouses and you think the best way to help them is to take away their only income? I am not saying this was Meyer's motivation but keep Smith there and him having access to counselors of all types as well as the availability for his wife was the best option to help.

He isn’t paid by Michigan and he isn’t less than a year removed from coaching Michigan?

I watch CGD for the personalities and the atmosphere which provide the hilarious signs.

Not meant as a shot at Meyer, but like the overwhelming majority of coaches — he has a wealth of knowledge, but the personality of a wet blanket. To put it in perspective — I’d say the exact same thing if it were Harbaugh (I wouldn’t watch him either)

See, I'd love to see Saban actually breaking down gamefilm in anticipation of an upcoming game. I know he'd be dryer than a nun's vagina, but it would actually be coherent and relevant. I don't need to see a bunch of zany antics or stupid signs in the crowd. I want actual information, and it's just been a while since we've gotten that from CGD.

Oh I would love to see him break down film, even in a make believe setting. Shit, i would watch a show of him or Urban just breaking down film of old games. But your not going to get any depth from any of these hype shows and I don't see Fox changing that. Hell I'd be happy just to learn who was actually going to play to change my fantasy lineup. I kind of like some of their fluff pieces, I treat it for what it is, entertainment.
