I saw the news and thought “another Hollywood fallen star taken young due to drugs”. I had no idea he actually had years on his tires. His fall feels like it was just yesterday.

I remember watching Jan Michael Vincent on TV back in the 70's when I was a teenager - thinking he was the COOLEST guy I'd ever seen on TV (back then). As the article mentioned, at one time, he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood. He's a great example of what illegal drugs and poor decision making skills can do to a person. Franklin I'm amazed that he lived to the age of 73. I thought he died a long time ago. I guess in a way he DID.

Yeah. I forgot all about him. Read a little bit after his death. Drugs.... booze.... car wrecks.... he did not grow old gracefully.

I remember an interview he did with Howard Stern in the mid-90's and he didn't look good then. That's why I'm surprised he hadn't died sooner.
