They're not doing the bracket format this year.

They had Karl Anthony Towns, and Ludacris, pick numbers, one each at a time. After each picked one number, then they revealed which players were behind those numbers. That would be the matchup.

That's a good idea, to have a random matchup.

Much better than the bracket format.

That is cool. That's a good way to show off some legends.

@MHSL82, I'm happy to see Mark Price. I haven't seen him since the 90s.

They should change the rules, to make someone have to complete the pass before advancing. If it takes 8 tries, so be it.

Otherwise, what's the point of the pass?

Most of the rounds this year had the person that missed his passes, winning by shooting a 3 from behind.

I didn’t see it except for the highlights. I had presumed that it was one of those half-court shots where everyone took a turn and shot until they made it. But then, after watching it, that was pretty cool. I think it would’ve been cooler if the three-point shooter had made it on his first shot, too, but Tatum got it in first.

Some of this is rationalization for not making the team, but Mitchell did say that he preferred to not participate this year because last year it took some wind out of his sales or something.

I am sure he is better suited because he’s older and used to a routine so that he would not have a rookie wall this year, but if it helps him have the rest, I’m happy for it.

He put a lot of thought in terms of creativity, last year.
