How are you liking your Big league teams so far(Chef, congrats on being done with the draft- looks like it is going to start slowing down dramatically)…

@Yellow Fuzzies

and to the parkplace group...

I am not going to start attempting to change rules since there is way too much happening in this league(to deep and stuff)…
But someone brought up in the draft board how this league doesn't value Prospects enough... And I was thinking about it... First, I was like 20 keepers is plenty, and enough to keep prospects if you need to...

But I was actually thinking about it, and I tend to agree with whoever made the comment... Sure, it is possible to rebuild in the league, and Chef, and TKO both did a great job doing it... But I do think this league is not ideal for the rebuild...

and I say that as someone who messed up a rebuild pretty terribly...

Hard to "like" such mediocrity, but I've only had two guys taken from my queue. So not bad.

I was gonna chime in, but we only have 15 minors in Park Place...not 20. And I don't believe in "rebuilds", so.... that concept is not of my language.

I was actually impressed by you last season... thought you were going to be the worst team in the league, with the players given to you... and you somehow were not...

With that said, it probably hurt you going into this season, because you managed not to suck but still didn't have any ELITE keepers... even for this league...

just debating this here, as I don't want to rock the boat at all in the league... nor do I think we really need to...

But, I think there should be a force of keeping at least 5 minor leaguers... even if we increased the keepers from 20 to like 22...

Sure...but losing doesn't increase my elite keepers.

well, kind of it does... if you had a top 5 pick then you would have gotten a better minor leaguer...

The major league draft on the other hand is another story... I don't think it matters where you draft in that...

I actually am beginning to think the way Chef did that is best... How he traded some early picks to get the quantity of picks before round 10... he is all done with the draft, was able to get better depth than any of us... and now we are in the rounds where no player is going to even play in the majors...

Yeah... But top five, top ten...one player ain't swinging things around. Especially when that player is three to five years away, and not a 1st round pick.

Capitalising on sell-highs, is the best way to improve, imo

Absolutely love this league though.

agree... this is my favorite league I am in... Wish I was able to join the other one Paul started, the AL and NL leagues... But just didn't want to put in over 500 dollars for all my money leagues...

The sad thing is, that I really want out of 2 of my money leagues... But am having trouble leaving... as one is a no brainer 10 team league, where I almost always win SOME MONEY back, and the other is a 12 team keeper league auction... Love the auction part, but really hate some of the rules...
