I guess one thing I should clarify is we are looking at these guys at their peaks no?

Just asking for future reference.

My squad obviously had three guys who at their peaks were top 5-15 guys (in their eras) but had their careers stunted shall we say due to injury in hill, mcgrady and Stoudamire

We used to look at peaks, but after I rode a bunch of one hit wonders to a few championship game appearances in baseball (never won though :dhd: ) it was changed (remember, these drafts are specifically so I lose :D). Now there's no prescribed way you need to vote unless the draft rule specifically stipulate it. I tend to like compare top season, top 5 seasons and career. But everyone has their own way of doing it.

Honestly it should be peak and career but as was said everyone looks at it differently.

Yea that definitely changes the scope.

Like Bo Jackson or Derek Rose.

I guess I'd view baseball more careerish then hoops for example

More so, i think when we judge teams we take short cuts... dont do as much research that we do when drafting...

Yea as I said my bias with hoops would be more peak (over like five years) versus baseball that I'd evaluate totals
