No, I’m not ignoring anything. When compared side by side anyone who isn’t a blind homer can see Florida has the advantage in this comparison.

Anyone with any grasp of the obvious can see its a wash.

One year Texas has to undergo that travel to LA while UF only has to travel to Tally.

The next year UCLA has to undergo that travel from LA while fsu only has to travel to Gainesville.

EACH team gets a crappy travel time one year in the case of Texas vs UCLA which benefits the home team.

EACH team gets an easy travel time one year in the case of UF vs fsu which does not benefit the home team since their opponent is not worn out by all that travel.

Home. Away. It balances out over a 2 year deal.

Travel balances out in terms of difficulty over a 2 year home and home contract. IF you have to travel far one year, then your opponent gets the same disadvantage next year. If you get the advantage of not traveling far one year, then your opponent gets that same advantage the next year.

FSU beat Samford, Northern Ill., Louisville, Wake Forest, and Boston College... that is it.

Boston College was 4-4 in the ACC, Wake Forest was 3-5, while Louisville did NOT win 1 Conference game...

So just maybe Southern Alabama Jaguars will be the Florida Gators marque OOC regular season game next year

… (with Florida's OOC schedule - they will probably be scalping tickets for the Jaguars game -- LOL)
