Hill should have slid down midway through that 75 Yard TD. Awful Pats defense helped them win that game at the end.

Was that planned by the mad scientist? Kind of makes you wonder.

I wouldn't put it past BB ... they certainly made sure THEY were running time off the clock when they got it back ....

Last one with the ball wins in a game like that ....

lol

by .8

brady had 1 turnover (dumb one at that) to mahomes 2.

brady completed 68.5%
mahomes 63.8%

so THERE!

PS hes so fucking fun to watch. you guys win by 21 if his nerves are calmer. never ever leave 2:00+ to the pats. as soon as hill scored i still thought my boys would win.

Brady got the time as you've mentioned and he got the W.

Mahomes played well, maybe not as well as the stats would indicate...the long Hill TD is probably not a TD if caught by anybody else in the league...the final Hill TD in the endzone...sometimes luck is better than skill. It's not likely the play design would have 2 players running into the same area...it was an overthrow or it looked to be on the pick play to the RB and Hill was johnny on the spot.

That said...the kid went into Foxboro and hung 40 on BB's DEF.

That is exciting.

They needed a TD and the Pats had prevented that from happening sevaral times last night. He couldn't take that chance. It would have been a good idea to let Gronk score on that long pass late, but nobody is thinking that at the time.

so, mahomes still threw a lot of TD's in the 2nd quarter of the season, but in games 5-8 some INT's started showing up ... 6 of them in 4 games ....

if your QB throws 48 TD's in a season but along with 24 INT's, would you still take it just because he's getting the ball in the end zone so frequently ???

Yes, you take it. He has 26 TDs and 6 INTs. Halfway through a season! He has been throwing like 4 TDs a game in recent weeks with like 1-2 INTs. You take those numbers all year.

Yeah, probably.

He's not showing any signs of being a guy who will throw an assload of picks like say Jameis Winston did. In fact, he has largely been Alex Smithian with tight window throws so far... He doesn't try.

INT% is at 2.1 (slightly above average IIRC) and the TD is over 9 which is 2004 Manning level hax.

24 would be a bit high. Still would like to see that even with ebbs and flows come out around 3-4 TD's per INT.

But as a first year starter in an offense so heavily predicated on getting the high risk/high reward big play... sure, those INT's you'd hope would fall off in future years with more experience.

Kinda reminds me a bit of some of the Kurt Warner offenses. Where the aggressive big plays were worth the risk of more turnovers.

But yeah his INT rate doesn't worry me. KC is slightly above average in that category this year.

he definitely pushes the envelope and, i agree, we should expect his INT's to go down as he matures. For example, in 5 years, I don't see him throwing the pick he threw yesterday, where he heaved it up for grabs with a defender draped all over him.

If they hadn't pulled that one out, his bruises and contusions would have hurt a lot more this AM.

Cause he got smacked around.

I've got my popcorn ready for Bosa chasing him around on Thursday.

Baker will be >>>> Mahomes

Book it.

So to make this clear, everyone has a different opinion on why a player is better and this will be true.

I had to put this somewhere so I will place this in the tMahomes Superthread. Thank you and good luck to the loser in this...
