When Hue is announced as the new Head Coach, please post the news link here.

From reading the noise on facebook, I already thought it was a done deal, but after googling and looking a bit, I found that there was no solid evidence that Hue Jackson had been named the Bengals head coach. Everyone just sort of expected it because this is the Bengals we're talking about.

My guess is Hue will be named the new head coach by the end of the week.

Last time they made a hire, it was an out of the organizational move.

We'll see what direction they want to go in this time, but I really don't think Hue has a chance. Mainly he's painted himself in a fairly poor light in his HC stints, plus if Brown really wanted Hue as HC, he would have agreed to the plan a few years ago to keep Hue around until Marvin decided to step away. Knowing how loyal Brown is, the fact that he didn't want that, and let Hue go to a division rival should be a big red flag, IMO

It was always my understanding that Mikey was okay with that idea but Hue didn't want to wait.

I'll probably going to be equally as frustrated if Vance Joseph is named the coach.

Something is going to get destroyed in my house.

If indeed today's reports are accurate, it will be time to retire the idea that the Bengals only promote from within.

seems they like to do that, but they will hit the reset button every few decades.

not sure why Zac Taylor is really qualified to be a HC, but I guess once he gets going we'll know whether he really makes a difference or not.

I remember someone kept throwing their garbage on Carson Palmer's lawn, I guess that same person hasn't figured out where Andy Dalton is staying.

That only happened AFTER he quit, took his ball, and went home.

The Steelers fans threw trash on Tommy Maddox's lawn. It's pretty much just a hazard of playing qb in the NFL.

Maybe it's the Mandela affect, or senility, but I remember his wife basically helped him make that decision BECAUSE people were throwing garbage on their lawn.

Only reason he was allowed back was Marvin.

well, he was a good scout for us, and a good position coach for running backs and wide receivers. I hope he goes back to doing that.

The truth is that Hue would make a fine addition to any team looking for a position coach.... And he's probably a better OC than half the guys currently employed, but he has so much stink on him I'm not sure anyone will give him a try. An experienced coach with a lot of job security should pick him up. Maybe even John Harbaugh (not so much security) would take him again to develop some receivers.
