But are 1) in English and 2) contain mostly real words. So things like the "Numa Numa" song don't count.

Anyway:

Up first is this, which has the strangest metaphor in musical history in the first verse, and a notorious chorus. It's difficult to really call it pure nonsense though, since the meaning is pretty transparent:

Second we have this ... thing. New age nonsense that actually is still not a bad song:

Third, well, they had to make an appearance, and it might as well be this:

Fourth, I love Conor Oberst, and this song is pretty cool, but the actual lyrics are ... questionable at best:

And finally, another song I like, although when you actually listen to the verses it's not entirely clear what is going on:

E-bow the Letter makes sense. Seems to be pretty clearly about using drugs to cope, possibly a letter about it. Also, excellent use of the E-bow.

Bob Dylan had a knack for throwing some lyrics together for people to try to figure out.

Maybe not the same thing but there are a lot of songs that trail off into nonsense.

I think this one is a song written like the singer is drunk?

song title explains this one.

There are lots of other songs that trail into gibberish or lyrics that are hard to understand but thats not really the same thing as just stringing together words.

Here are 2 good ones that to me, make no sense...but, that's to their advantage...because I'm not so sure had their lyrics been understandable as in Beck's tune, or at least decipherable in the Kingsmen song, neither would've worked as well or be as good as they ended up being.

That still makes more sense than Come Together:

"Desolation Row" has some interesting lyrics in the verses, but the overall theme of the song is pretty easy to decipher. Those two Beatles' songs; I don't know where you guys are coming from- both of them are self-explanatory. "A Day in the Life" is especially extremely straight forward in its lyrical content.

I'd say a lot of Led Zeppelin songs have lyrics that really confuse me, but I try not to worry about them too much because the music is so awesome.

I love Queen but this one is overplayed and mostly makes no sense.

It's about a man who's about to be executed for the crime of murder.

The first part has the protagonist lamenting to his mother about the crime he committed. The funky middle portion with "the fandango" and all that is the pro-execution/anti-execution crowds debating his eventual demise.

"Nothing really matters... to me" is right about the time the protagonist acquiesces to his fate.
