I haven't seen anywhere that said he fears for his safety. But it is hard to tell a kid he has to sit out for leaving a school when a fellow student-athlete calls him the N word repeatedly, regardless of what happened to the kid who said it. The precedent for a waiver comes from a rule that states, "A waiver will be granted “in cases where the student-athlete was a victim of objective, documented egregious behavior by a staff member or student at the previous institution and the previous institution supports the waiver.”He probably will be granted eligibility because he "fears for his safety"
