Big Ben is such a shit leader. Great talent, but a selfish cvnt.

And that’s not to say AB isn’t a cancer himself
in some ways yes, in some ways no

in all honesty i feel like that quote from jones is telling

"i dont have to throw you the ball there"

this is just me. BUt I easily see AB bitching like usual that he didnt get thrown the ball, and ben telling him he didnt have to throw to him...........thats what i see there, i see that twisted....

How many times have we seen the team WINNING, and AB throwing helmets or pitching fits on the sidelying because hes not getting the ball

Both true statements...I'm agreeing opposing fans will want to do that Vegas trip, in some cases pretty good numbers depending on the game, tie in a some golf, gambling, fun trip. The Raiders could be terrible, and ride that for a few years, but again, sustaining it...do you make the Vegas trip every year if you live in KC? Maybe for a while, but at some point they will have to win some games and develop a local fan base if they expect to thrive in Vegas long term.

Vegas population is tough to predict and relatively small (just under 2M people) but it’s only 10 Sunday’s a year (including preseason) so I don’t think it will be a problem. Plus, they have already taken deposits to get on a list for season tickets and it’s large (just for a list) already!

ben has habitually called himself out before bringing anyone else up in press conferences and post-game interviews throughout the years. you're just lapping up the garbage being spewed by talking heads to get clicks.

I'm rooting for a dumpster fire in 2019. Only way any real changes get made.

About damn time Art released a statement. But he only stated the obvious. And about a week late. Go figure
He is drifting towards shitlist territory. With all this turmoil and failed expectations lately you'd think this team would hold its key members more accountable but seems like that isn't happening.

Yep. Seems like the Art II era will have a redundant theme to it. Keeps letting the shitshow continue with zero accountability.

In this week’s episode of Days of Our Steelers....

According to Jason Full-of-Shit Canfora.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. His talent is being wasted in Pittsburgh.

What teams do you think would be interested?

Certainly not Bmore, our qb has a wet spaghetti noodle for an arm...Embarrassing !!!

Another thought: If Brown is traded do not re-sign Ben.
Not sure how you justify keeping him until he's 40 if they're just going to go 6-10 the whole time

I would trade Brown to the bills just to piss him off, maybe the lions, broncos and raiders

Tomlin will justify it so that he can pad his resume.

“Obviously my record here speaks for itself... obviously”

Not the first time AB has said something like that. Whether it’s “I’m done with this” or “if you aren’t going to use me then trade me” type of comments... Same shit, different year.

Tomlin will sweep it under the rug in his Wednesday presser. Like he always does.

You know BB is salivating over there in NE, 1 more ride with Tommy Boy and AB....Now that's scary..

Sounding like he's more and more likely to be traded and my guess is they'd likely prefer to trade him to the NFC.

There would be a lot of interest but I just wonder who can realistically the Steelers would trade him too and who can realistically trade for him.

You can scratch other AFC North teams off the list. Patriots are off and other AFC playoff teams would be off the list as well.

I don't see a team giving up a top 10 pick for him so I can't see the Jets and Bills being in it unless it's for a 2nd rounder.

Raiders are the only AFC team I could see the Steelers pulling off a trade with since Oakland has the picks, the cap space, and the ammo to pull a trade off and not likely step on the Steelers toes in the AFC.

NFC I would imagine the Cards and 9ers would have interest but it would have to be for their 2nd rounders.

Seahawks could realistically pull it off but I don't know if they would be interested. They're very much a run first team and adding a guy like AB who will be a problem when he's not getting targets isn't a good idea when you just purged the headaches from your locker room this past offseason.

Panthers maybe but they would have to clear cap space.

Packers are really the prime trade target since they have the extra 1st and cap space but I'd be a very unPacker like move for them. 1st rounders are like gold to them especially with a QB that's the highest paid in the league so I see them likely keeping it to plug other holes.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the Steelers have not spoken with Antonio Brown since he was deactivated for the team's Week 17 game against the Bengals.

Per reporter Gerry Dulac, Brown has "refused to return repeated phone calls" from owner Art Rooney II and coach Mike Tomlin. He skipped the team's final meetings. "Whether the situation can be reconciled and have him back on the team next year, we’re a long way away from thinking that can happen," Rooney said, expanding on his comments that it was difficult to envision Brown with the team in 2019. "We’re not closing the door on anything at this point." Rooney said the massive $21.2 million cap hit the Steelers would take by trading Brown will not factor into their decision. Rooney sounds 100 percent ready to move on.

Nah you’re a homer

That locker room has consistently been a mess. That’s on Ben almost as much as the coach and GM

Lol how? "almost" as much? Haha yeah ok.

You're full of shit and you know it. For people who hate the Steelers, it's "en vogue" to label Ben in such a fashion, so thats exactly what you're doing.

"oh, that Ben! He's such a dick! I know he's to blame for all this!"

:rolleyes2:

So this is more Brown wanting out than the Steelers not wanting him right?

Kinda weird they'd trade Brown but not Bell. Maybe that was more on Bell never signing his tender though

On the bright side, even if the Steelers lose Ben, Bell, Brown and Tomlin within the next year or two, they’ll still be better than the Bengals.
