Wilson and Prescott are not run first.

Newton isn't either.

Only Wilson of those that made it won the SB.

I was addressing the racial aspect of the comment.

There isn't a QB in the league like Lamar. I don't think long term it will be succesful. Dumb to link his race to it when there is proof otherwise.

It wasn't me who said it.

But I can't think offhand of a run first white QB?

Not that it matters.

Who else is run first but Lamar? People try linking RG3 to him but RG3 had very good passing stats his rookie year. Deshaun throws a good ball. It's not even remotely a good comparison

Hell Josh Allen is probably closer to Lamar than anyone lol

Also want to note LJ put up better #s than Flacco's first playoff game. He even threw as many TD's in one game than Flacco's first 2 seasons in the playoffs!

As bad as he played I blame the off. coordinator more for the loss. The Chargers said they didn't change anything offensively from the last time they played them. They knew what kind of runs they were going to use so it's no surprise they stopped the run.

When you don't have enough common sense to change your scheme/playcalling 2 weeks after playing someone, you deserve to lose.

There isn't one these days but Tebow was and Steve Young was when he first came in. But as for Lamar, he reminds me of early Vick with his speed and size.

Poor excuse and comparison , blue....Joe took us to the AFCCG his first year and never went 1 and done in the playoffs his whole career....Buckwheat is a 1 trick pony and has already been figured out...
6-10 next year or worse, book it !!....He's not as good as most backups in the league...
Get off the protect a brother train and be honest with yourself...
The guy is another failed attempt at a qb for Ozzie, just thankful, it's his last here...

One day, maybe not for a season or two, but one day the league is going to learn how to defend Jackson against the run. If he doesn't become a better passer, ie not far and away the worst passer in the league, then his career, at least as a starter, is going to be short lived.

Hey, I'm with you on Lamar. I don't think he will last. Was more comparing him to Vick physically. Vick did throw a pretty good deep ball and did beat the Packers in Lambeau in the 02 WC game so I'll give him that but unless Lamar improves dramatically throwing the ball, the Ravens are in trouble going forward.
As for Flacco, I honestly don't see him in a Ravens uniform again, no matter what we think of Lamar. That ship has sailed, imo.

Chargers seemed to have figured that out last weekend.
