WE ARENT ARGUING ABOUT FSU. We are arguing about Texas and UF. You bringing up FSU in this doesn’t matter.

We are arguing about any advantage gained due to distance in home and home contracts.

You look one year and see that fsu is closer to UF than Texas' OOC opponent and then scream that UF thus gains a big advantage because of this.

Yet you REFUSE to look at the very next year in which....fsu is still closer to UF and thus fsu is going to be fresh while Texas' opponent is going to be worn out by their much longer travel time.

Home.............and Home. Its a 2 year deal.

No, what I'm saying is that if a team gains an advantage by being located near their opponent and thus not having to travel as far.....thus presumably being fresher....then their opponent gains that exact same advantage the following year because they too don't have to travel far. In this case, they too get that 2 hour car ride instead of having to do a 6 hour plane flight (and its not 6 hours....you can get to Europe from the east coast in 6 hours - crossing the entire country only takes 4 hours max).

Again, the comparison is said team and the opponent. The comparison is UF and in this case Texas. Home and home cancels out so we are comparing a 2 hour car ride for UF to a 4 hour (happy now) plane ride for UT.

An no, not everywhere in the US is a 4 hour plane ride max. A few weeks ago I left BwI for Vegas at 4 east coast and we arrived after 6pm Vegas time. That wasn’t even coast to coast.

What do you mean we aren't comparing opponents? Of course we are.

One year both UF and Texas travel. UF gets a big advantage over Texas because fsu is a lot closer to UF than UCLA is to Texas.

The next year UF and Texas are at home. Texas gets a big advantage over UF because UF is a lot closer to fsu than Texas is to UCLA

No we are comparing UF to Texas, an they aren’t playing each other.

Travel for UF is no comparison to the travel of UT. Both home games cancel each other out. Neither team has to travel.

Yet here you are assuming it is the exact same advantage to play a team away two hours to having a team come to you 4 hours at home. It’s not.

No, home and home cancels out any difference in distance. Any advantage gained in one year is lost in the next. The distance between two campuses does not change from year to year.

I lived in San Diego. I lived in Jacksonville. I traveled back and forth between the two many times. Its a 4 hour plane ride.

We're comparing their OOC schedules.

One year UF gets an advantage by not traveling far. The next year fsu gets an advantage by not traveling far. That completely cancels out one year when Texas gets a disadvantage by traveling far and the next year gets an advantage because their opponent has to travel far.

Yet here you are ignoring what happens the very next year in a home and home contract when the opponent gets the very same advantage of not traveling far or in Texas' case gets the very same disadvantage of having to travel far.

??? advantage or disadvantage ??? The reason why gator fan doesn't see in their stadium teams like OU, Notre Dame, Ohio St. USC, Texas, etc is because Florida refuses to travel …

Florida used to have a sell out crowd every Sat. but no more … nobody shows up for Eastern Washington Eagles … the stadium is empty

...and You call this a quality schedule and a hard schedule but your own fan don't even buy that … a bad show is a bad show … and that is what Florida is trying to sell … but no one is buying …

Gator Fans are taking their recreational dollar and spending it on something else ...

Why do Texas fans see so few ranked OOC teams in their stadium?

Notre Dame comes to Austin as does UCLA, Ohio St., Arkansas, LSU Alabama, etc
all in our OOC Regular Season Scheduling.
… you watch East Washington Eagles … but wait no you don't because -- no one is in the stands …

That all sounds great neil. The reality however is your team has only played 1/3rd as many ranked OOC opponents as mine in the last 20 years.

One Third. As in we've played THREE TIMES as many as you have. Why are y'all so cowardly in your OOC scheduling?

Actually better than the year they had six sec east teams in the top 15 in week 7, and then they went 2-5 in bowls, the top five teams losing.

Until Texas loses fewer than 4 games, no one will consider them a “big OOC game”.

And I never see fsu on yours.

The last time you played miami, they pulled you so bad in your home state the NCAA had to pass a rule against taunting.

I should be ashamed? You're so fucking retarded, you can't even form coherent sentences. Who let you in the COLLEGE football forum, anyway? We used to have standards around this place.
