the numbers and metrics will be better because of the era he played in. He also played longer
The volume numbers, sure. I agree with you there. Qualitatively, though, it just means Brees is a better QB.

They era he has played in would effect his qualitative numbers as well. Joe Montana 16-7, 4-0, Drew Brees 7-6, 1-0 those are their playoff records. Brees made the playoffs in 7 seasons out of 18. Joe Montana made the playoffs in 11 seasons out of 15.

It matters how you play and how your team performs in the playoffs.

Damnit.

Julian Love declared. Can't blame him, probably a late 1st rounder. Somebody needs to step up in his absence.

False.

49ers 16-7, 4-0
Saints 7-6, 1-0

Saints made playoffs 7 seasons out of 18
49ers made playoffs 11 seasons out of 15

Again, there's a lot more parity in the NFL today. The talent is spread around a lot more. It's like comparing women's college basketball and men's. For example, from 1972-1996, the Steelers, 49ers, and Cowboys, who won 19 SBs out of 25.

Since 1997, only the Patriots have anything close to a dynasty.

False.

Again, there's a lot more parity in the NFL today. The talent is spread around a lot more. It's like comparing women's college basketball and men's. For example, from 1972-1996, 25 seasons, only 8 teams won a SB. It's why you saw dynasties like the Steelers, 49ers, and Cowboys, who won 19 SBs out of 25.

Since 1997 (21 years), we've had 11. Only the Patriots have anything close to a dynasty.

What is false about those numbers and Brees made the playoffs with the Chargers one season, Montana two seasons with the Chiefs. those are their playoff records Montana's is superior of course you don't want to concede that because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Isaac Nauta
Mecole Hardman
Elijah Holyfield
Riley Ridley

All declared today from UGA.

All expected.

Nauta is a good blocking TE that can catch, he'll be drafted.

Holyfield is a RB and if you can get drafted, you need to cash in. Chubb and Michel were exceptions.

Hardman was expected, but I think he could have benefited from staying another year to polish as a WR. Great athlete, but this was his second year ever playing WR. He was an option QB in high school and played defensive back his freshman season. He'll get drafted because he can play immediately as a return man and for gadget plays on offense, but he's far from a finished product at receiver.

Riley Ridley was expected too, but I think he might end up like Trenton Thompson and regret the decision. Hopefully I'm wrong, but there's never been a time at UGA when I thought he was an NFL WR.

It bears repeating:

Versus Clemson with Love in the game: 12-19 for 80 yards, 0 TD’s

Love sidelined, 15-18, 246 yards, 3 TD’s

Todd Lyght has his work cut out for him.

Agree on Ridley and Hardman...they both got shitty advice from somebody.
