Last year Allen Robinson got a 3 year $42 million contract.

The team that would trade for Brown would have him for 3 years at $36.4 million contract.

It would be a steal to be able to trade for him. But it is part of the reason that Pitt wont trade him. His talent combined with his contract would justifiably make Pitts asking price way too high.

Pitt would need to get as much if not more than what the Raiders got for Mack. I doubt that any team is willing to pony up that kind of draft assets for a head case WR.

That said.....maybe Oakland would be willing to do that. A big reason they moved Mack and Cooper is they flat out couldn't afford the cash on one of those deals that they would have to lay down in guaranteed money. In a trade for Brown, they completely escape the cash part of that equation.

On the surface...As of now, Ben seems to want to sweep it under the rug...if AB is ready to move on, he'll continue to poke the bear. If he wants to say, we won't hear a whole lot from him in the media about this.

That said, you've outlined the parameters for a possible trade...it's a very attractive contract to take on for the production. Off the cuff, two teams make sense...OAK, and GB...obviously OAK has a lot more resources....GB has #12 and are in win now mode with Rodgers.

Seems more sense for GB to make a move like this. Raiders are coming back anytime soon, as much as Gruden wants to believe, I mean it is the Raiders though, I just think they stockpile picks and load up a young roster at this point lol.
I just think it would be a move GB makes for Aaron Rodgers, they need to make a flashy move, makes sense.

Gruden has plenty of time from a contract stand point, so that makes sense.

If I were him, with Carr in place, I'd want to come into the new Vegas stadium with a playoff caliber team. You don't want to bring a young 6-10 team into a brand new stadium do you? Antonio Brown helps sells tickets.

If does make more sense for GB though. CHI could be taking over that DIV for a while if they stand pat.

He's open.

The point is that when you are the most targeted receiver in all of football, the last thing you should be talking about is how you're not being targeted.

id be shocked if we get a top 10 pick for him, with that contract.....

I'd give up the Cowboys or Bears 1st rounder for him. And then go after Bell hard.....

Carr would have some shiny new toys to play with.

Whether the Steelers trade him or not is going to boil down on how much of a distraction and headache they feel he'll be and if it's worth it.

They aren't likely to get a bounty of picks for him because he's going to be 31 and teams aren't likely going to want to give up cheap young talent that could be on your team for years for someone that's going to have around another 3 years of effective play. Not to mention he comes with baggage and could blow up in your face.

Mack was 27 and plays arguably the 2nd most important position in football and Cooper was 24 when he was traded and both haven't had really any issues.

If it was me in the Steelers shoes I'm looking to move him for something decent like a mid to late 1st or even a high 2nd. Tomlin needs to reign in and clean up the locker room and AB has already shown nothing for disdain for Tomlin and he has no love for Big Ben and that's just not going to change next season.

Good points...most of them.

Age/production...I think you can count on 2 more seasons...and that's what he has remaining. Considering you're getting a top 5 producer at the position, I think you can do a little better than 2nd round...because the dead money hit is substantial, and he's still a highly productive player...mid 1st rounder is about as low as I would go.

I've posted this earlier...bottomline here, if Ben and the Steelers coaches/FO no longer think AB is a reliable teammate, can't handle criticism or whatever, I think he could be traded...that doesn't sound like the case, at least from Ben's recent comments....trying to sweep this under the rug.

So apparently now the Steelers are listening to offers. Smart move, but I doubt anyone is going to give up the high price it would take to pry him away.

Regardless of how bad the Raiders are/will be, I don't think they'll have trouble selling seats. They have a bunch of adolescent trick or treaters that follow them everywhere. Opposing team fans are going to flock to LV to watch their teams. Plus you throw in all the corporate tickets, casino give aways... Hell the Jets could sell out every game.

IDK...they don't draw very well now...that 1st yr or so they should do okay regardless, but LV will probably be like MIA or LA when you're losing...there's always something else they can do.

Oakland and the Collesium are dumps. Vegas is a destination city. If my team moved I'd want them to go to Vegas.

Both true statements...I'm agreeing opposing fans will want to do that Vegas trip, in some cases pretty good numbers depending on the game, tie in a some golf, gambling, fun trip. The Raiders could be terrible, and ride that for a few years, but again, sustaining it...do you make the Vegas trip every year if you live in KC? Maybe for a while, but at some point they will have to win some games and develop a local fan base if they expect to thrive in Vegas long term.
