Should Marvin Lewis retire, who do you think should be then next head coach of the Bengals. I know all the Mike Holmgren rumors that are floating around, but what about McCarthy or McDaniels? I think Hue had the inside shot until he went to Cleveland, but I think his W-L record over there puts him at the bottom among members of the current Bengals coaching staff. Among current coaches, I like Bill Lazor. I really think we are on the verge of big things in Cincy, so I'm kind of in the camp where you hate to bring in new blood to taint what we already have, so in that case, I could see Hue Jackson in keeping us in the same direction, but give the nod to Lazor.
Dick Lebeau could be brought back in, but He's probably older than Holmgren, but he's spry.

Would they dare call Urban Meyer?

To be honest, I think the Bengals camp needs new blood. I can see Brown having a comfort level with Lazor, but I would be looking outside. McDaniels will have options....I don't see him meshing well. McCarthy would be a good option assuming he can land a good DC.

LeBeau is or should be done coaching period now....consultant at the most now.

Coach Lewis is in his 16th season as the Bengals coach, and he's never won a playoff game ... My question is why hasn't he been fired already ? 0-7 in a playoffs isn't bad luck anymore, he's being out coached... Bengals need a change and it shouldn't be up to Coach Lewis, Bengals ownership should set the bar higher...

Valid question. You have to look at the whole picture and understand CIN ownership.

Lewis took over a floundering organization in '03...the most recent winning season was 1990, 9-7...his 1st yr he went 8-8, '2005 he posted the 1st winning season in 15 yrs. Then from 2011-2015 they were in the playoffs every year and obviously lost in the 1st round everytime...some of those Dalton was just not ready to win on the big stage...some were close that you can look at coaching...especially the '15 season...control your players and you win that game...simple as that.

So...realizing from whence they came...ownership was loyal to Lewis, and at the same time the Bengals were known in some circles as a frugal operation for a while...facilities, etc. maybe not being on the same level as other teams and I think Lewis was accepting of that MO.

Made for a cozy relationship if you will.

Don't think it's going to matter for quite a while.

I think Cincinnati and Cleveland have switched places.

Probably some random assistant since nobody with credentials wants to deal with Mike Brown if we're being honest.
