He does need a new team. Sixers don't need him now, and he needs to be under less pressure. Trade him to a lottery team for a 3 point shooter.
Same with Ball and Ingram.

They need a lot of chances to make mistakes and learn from them to improve.....

Lakers should definitely shop those two for another star to pair with LeBron, like Beal.

I have mentioned that in the NBA reg season thread. He is a good shooter and if acquired via trade we could still get another star next summer.

Trading for Beal, even if you trade Ball and Ingram in the deal, knocks $10M off the available cap space for next season. Besides, Lakers definitely won't deal both (and I doubt would deal either). Beal is shooting 3s at the worst percentage of his career this year (33.8%), not exactly the superstar level floor-spacer you would want if you're trading two major trade chips.

I'll take Thoracic Outlet Syndrome for $200, Alex.

Rehab will take 3-6 weeks, or in Sixers-speak, he'll be out the rest of the season....

Went to 10 specialists and 9 found nothing. Nice work by the agent finding some specialist that wouldn’t out fultz as forgetting how to shoot. Seems obvious that he just got the yips

Myself, I was holding out for some kind of Tourette diagnosis.
Right now, he's two months away from being two months away.....

It's not a very common injury but the Detroit Tigers had their ace go down with it in like 06 and it ended his career basically

Granted basketball is much different but no way three weeks

honestly, i'm cool with them going this route.

that being said, i thought the hate being rained upon him was ridiculous. that free throw form was crazy, but outside of that, he defended well, he was getting his pullup game back, honestly, everything one wouldn't have to think about, he was on point. people were calling him a bust, but he as filling up the stat sheet at the same level of pretty much every other draft pick from last year, fucking crazy people want to trade him for richaun holmes. brett didn't want to play richaun last year, i get the sixers need something better behind Embiid and on that note, how fucking awesome would it be if they had Noel? honestly, i'd love him on this team, be'd be a great fit.

Imo, it's a combination of where he was picked, the expectation of the Sixers to win and how poorly this whole thing has been handled by both him and the Sixers.

In some ways, it reminds me of what Lonzo Ball and the Lakers have gone through. Between all of the hype coming out of UCLA, Magic talking about his jersey eventually being retired and his Dad's big mouth...every flaw gets magnified and every strength gets downplayed. The kid has elite vision and passing skills, has played better than expected defense and seems to only be getting better at it...yet all you really hear about is his shooting (which has improved this year, but still has a ways to go to even be solid).

At this point, it might be best for him and the Sixers if he went someplace where he can just be allowed to develop without a lot of pressure on him. But he's only 20 and has some obvious talent, so the Sixers shouldn't look to just give him away.

I've said before, you hate to do it because of where he was picked, but if the Sixers are going to keep him, a little time in the G-League might not be the worst thing for him.

You know what, Lavar has been very quiet of late. Just don't say his name 3 times, lol...

I don't know if it is feasible but The Sixers really should play in the G league as part of a "recuperation" period. Make it clear that it is only for a few weeks to minimize the stigma.

Agree. They should present it so it's like when an MLB player does a few games stint in the minors as part of his rehab before returning to the big league team.

Yeah, it's weird how quiet he's been. Almost eery. lol
He's trying to make everyone forget that his other kids played pro ball so that they can still go to UCLA.

Time for the Sixers to trade him for two second round picks. Kid needs a new place and a new organizational start.

I like the kids court vision and hendles. He looks like he belongs. I like his inside game. I am sure once he heals they will put him thru the Marcus Smart training school of threes and he will blossom.
In hindsite , you clearly know nothing.
