Who's gonna be the starter, Jalen or Tua?

Tua, but I’m not as nervous about seeing Jalen as I was before.

I'm concerned that Tua might not be healthy. I wouldn't be surprised if he has ankle and knee surgery real soon. If it wasn't for the Heisman show, he would have already had them, imo.

I thought he already had the ankle procedure done?

Don’t know about knee.

Anyone else think Tua has been trying to hard these last few games?

He's been pressing to make big plays instead of taking the underneath stuff. It caused 3 picks against MSU and UGA. It also caused him to hold the ball too long in a lot of situations.

His eyes are always down field first and he sometimes locks in without going down his progression. He is going to have to learn he doesn't have time to do that against good defensive fronts. It has gotten him hurt twice now in reality. That was the difference between him and Jalen Saturday honestly. Jalen had a good internal clock and would run instead of stand in the pocket hoping it develops. A month until the bowl game and Tua made his biggest progression last year in bowl prep. So we will see what happens.

Absolutely. Going for the home run and forcing things.

It has gotten him beat up worse too. Maybe he can chill out with this down time and come back in early season form.

His knee is fine and has been for weeks.

I suppose it may be at a higher risk for re-injury, I'm no doctor, but he's clearly not bothered by it anymore.

Yeah, supposedly Hurts didn't heal as quick as hoped/normal. Hope he heals like normal.

I think we could still win with Hurts.

Well, seeing Jalen in relief of Tua he looked more like a qb capable of passing then he did as a starter.

Just had an hour convo with a good insight. My takeaways

-Tua should be close to 100% by the 29th but the staff is fully ready to commit Jalen to the game and run a “soul crushing” run game like Army.

- the defense had an offline meeting, only coach’s in attendance were Scott C and Tosh. Savion, R Davis, and Mac all admitted they have let the team down and will do whatever it takes to be better. They have all heard “Murray is going to torch us” stuff. Q Williams said our def will play perfect and it’s not an option. The meeting ended with a rally of hoops and yells with chants and dances fueled by Scotty C. My opinion, the defense will be firing on all cylinders come 29 Dec.

- team seems very business like, this UGA game did a few things. Showed weakness and pissed them off. My opinion, we may have something brewing here.

- Buggs was still a bit gimp at the UGA game will be 100% soon

- Recievers, Juedy especially was really pissed he dropped passes. Said it’s not like us, that they had pre game gitters and we’re worried about the playoff.

- Only comment I heard from Moses or about him was “I want a shot at Murray”.

All in all I like where our head is. We admit weaknesses and are committed to getting better, all we can ask at this point.

Boz posted this over on the rant it all sounds good.

Doesnt look like he's putting much pressure on the back foot yet but this is definitely promising..

Wouldn't surprise me to see a Jalen package midgame with Jacobs and Najee split backs, running the triple read option with Irv or Hentges lead blocking. Oklahoma has seen some good offenses, but the balance of distribution between all of our receivers is what makes our offense so dangerous. Errbody EATS!!!

Have no reason to believe Tua won’t be full-go next Saturday. Not winning the Heisman and having to take a step back against Georgia was a Godsend. The nation’s best player will have a chip on his shoulder and much learned.

Can not wait.

I hope we can put a shit ton of pressure on K. murray. I'd love to see him spin to get away from Mack right into the waiting arms of Quinnen,
