For your entertainment, he may very well be starting vs the Bears this Sunday....and it may be Mack's return (and return to his hometown Buffalo).

All three Buffalo QBs have pick 6s this season. Might as well give Peterman some run; at least he can escape the pocket better than Anderson.

As of right now the Browns have two of the top 3 OROY candidates (Mayfield, Chubb) and one top 3 DROY candidate (Ward), based on Bovada odds. Meanwhile, rookie 5th rounder Genard Avery has cemented himself as a starting LB for years to come, and Antonio Calloway is 3rd on the team in receiving, 2nd among the WRs. I only say this because there are barely 5 combined players from any previous drafts worth a shit on the Browns currently, so it's nice.

They've lost two close games to top competition. No need to worry whatsoever.
Yeah, I am not too worried at all about the Chiefs actual team in 2018 right now. A pair of 3 point losses on the road doesn't give me the willies. The dagger being a TE running past the 3rd, 4th, or 5th string safety depending on who you ask will get under my craw a bit, however.

This is kind of my feeling about the Chiefs draft as of today:

Breeland Speaks has been a lot better than I thought predraft, and is showing moves to help him out a lot more than I remember him doing in college. He's so damn slow where his wins don't amount to more than "pressures" which is kind of an issue right now. It's correctable as he's carrying a lot of weight from when he was a DL in college; dude looks obese compared to Justin Houston, Kpassagnon, and Dee Ford. Got to be a little faster to be a legitimately good EDGE for the Chiefs. He's clearly strong enough, he needs to drop enough weight without losing the strength and he could actually be a good EDGE, albeit nothing special. They traded up for him, but a potentially above average EDGE with respectable relief work from the bench his rookie year is probably a win in the big picture, even if wildly unpopular at the time. Chiefs FO> Me

Derrick Nnadi: Another player the Chiefs traded up for, has been a good classic Run-stuffing NT, but the Chiefs aren't really hot for the NT position that isn't some Dontari Poe-esque superfreak so it's kinda hard to get excited for him when he's kind of 1 dimensional as a player, and it's not stopping the pass; though he has shown a bit more penetration than maybe some thought predraft. This is the draft equivalent of hitting a single down multiple runs.

Dorian O'Daniel: Another niche-y type player right now, but this is at the LB level and against the pass, which is a major draft win I think at this point for the Chiefs since he has been in the lineup starting with the Bengals game. TE's/RB's/FB Production in the passing game is all down since being in the lineup, and prior to the Rams game, it was approaching a 3 yard gap in yards per target. If Dorian O'Daniel can keep being just good enough against the run to not have a "hit me" sign on his helmet and expand his game to include box safety in the NFL, this could be the HR of the draft for the Chiefs. I am pretty high on this pick right now. He's pretty niche as of today, however; that's probably ok given the Chiefs desperately need better production against the pass at that level of the D.

Armani Watts: Was working himself into the rotation before getting hurt, and quite frankly I don't think he's gonna be durable or a good tackler in the NFL. He is unlikely to be brought back from IR given the Chiefs need a bigtime upgrade on their OL in the form of Duvernay-Tardif ASAP; especially after Aaron Donald pants'd them. Could be an ok pick due to draft position as depth, but this is the definition of meh 1 contract type player. Depth is fine, but it's just depth, until you're on IR that is like Watts.

Tremon Smith: 6th round pick, good KR, non-factor on the actual defense, which, is ok for a rookie 6th round pick I suppose. Has the tools to maybe make that jump, but this is a good pick just for the fact it's a 6th rounder making an impact on ST's.

Khalil McKenzie: Been inactive every week, DL convert to OG. Could potentially get a start in week 17 if the Chiefs can wrap up HFA; he is also the Raider GM's son, so that could be a fun sight.

Not a lot of impact players right now. Only one player I think could be really good player; though Speaks being an edge could be the most valuable in theory. They have "good picks," but they are kind of niche-y at the moment. No 1st round pick, but it's hard to get excited for this group outside of O'Daniel for my liking.

it seems colts was the draft winners this year . not bad to have good starters at rt , lg , 2 solid rb . 1 starting de or 2 then the steal off the draft league leading tackler at linebacker maniac leonard . they still have all 11 with the team .

Well that would mean Chris Simms gives them a D- on draft grade.

Speaks mightve cost the Chiefs a win but Watts might have saved a game.

Way too early to judge the draft but it's difficult to see a home run.

My favorite part of this whole draft was:

Dan Patrick just said 'And Johnny Manziel goes #1 to Cleveland and Lamar Jackson at 32 goes to Baltimore.'

As long as we end up with a CB in the 2nd round, I'm on board for this.

Cleveland makes a strong argument here with Baker alone, not to mention Denzel Ward who looks like a shutdown CB, Nick Chubb who since becoming a starter is top 5 in the NFL in yards, TDs, and yards after contact, Antonio Calloway is 4th among rookies in TD catches (should be tied for 3rd if he was paying attention when he was stripped at the goal line against HOU), and Genard Avery is a solid LB starter. It's pretty telling when there have been 14 Rookie of the Week honors and it's been a Browns player 8 times.

I'd give both you A's as of today.
Can't argue both teams drafted really well and that young talent is playing well on the field.
