The Bengals will upset the Bills this weekend. Trap game for the Bills.

In J-Will fashion - If I'm wrong, I'll be here next week!

Did mrshcaney guarantee it yet? I'm banned there, so not sure I want to find it.

I mean, that would make me feel much better about it.

I think the Bengals play hard and keep the game close early, but the Bills are too much..

Bills country is a long road trip to Cincinnati...

with all of the empty seats for the opener, and Bills fever in full effect, I wouldn't be shocked to see a good percentage of Bills fans in PBS on Sunday

We may lose, but, not by 4 td's. The Bills defense is not that good.

Good one cincy grad and BK.....LOL Im choking on my lunch as I read..lol

Thats me only I dont think they will win but I will be here next week anyway..It is what it is...

Im actually glad 25K fans didnt show up....Thats bare minimum 2Mill in losses for MIke Brown....Keep it up Cincy and lets see how soon he tries to break his lease thinking grass is greener on the other side....

If we had the same FO as Pitt with a scouting dept and GM we would sell out our home games IN A BAD ECONOMY!

Its some MO FO's with money in Greater CIncy....People are fed up....

Anyway off my spill....WE NEED a win just dont have the faith this week...

There was a PFT article earlier today about the Bengals inability to sell out games, and it said maybe the Bengals should be on the list of teams considering a move to LA.

Whoever said that is an idiot. Just through part of last season we were sitting at 40+ straight sellouts.

Of course, people that write these articles usually have no idea what they're talking about. They care little for facts.

Due to revenue sharing, whatever the seat prices are, you can divide by 32. Mike Brown isn't losing much by the stadium not selling out.

The only way he's losing money is if the luxury suites are not selling. Those are direct sales and not a part of revenue sharing.

Concessions are their own beast, though those losses depend on the deal Brown has with the vendors.

Adam Schefter tweeted that with no ruling on the appeal today, Benson will play Sunday.

Moving the team to LA would only help them sell out a little while. The folks in LA would go absolutely nuts on Mike Brown, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Heck, Brown would probably sell the team and try to start a franchise right here, Hamilton county has been very profitable for him.

anyway, he might be getting his info from here.

so far, for 2011, we are the worst.

2011 NFL Football Attendance - National Football League - ESPN

for 2010, we were 6th worst attendance, 10th worst in sellout %
for 2009, we were somewhat better, but middle of the road.

clearly, from 2009-2011 to call us the most likely candidate to move to LA, is insane. and that journalist should be fired, flogged, tarred, feathered, run out of town, and stoned.

I can see us losing by 2 if the game is rigged by desperate criminals betting on the Bengals with points.

I'll be happy if Dalton just doesn't throw many ints. If the Bills open things up, we will have to pass.

A few thoughts.....

1.) When the Bengals win this week, and I bump this thread, we'll now all have to be reminded of our attendance issues. Thanks a lot!

2.) The Bengals would never move to LA for a very simple reason. The NFL wouldn't let it happen. The NFL NEEDS the next move to LA to work. They've been trying to orchestrate a return to that market for years, and you can be damn certain that the owner that gets to field a team in that market is going to be a proven winner. That's why I fully doubt you will see Oakland return and you're not likely to see Jacksonville relocate to LA. I would gamble on San Diego. Minnesota might move up the list if they don't solve their stadium issue.

3.) The Bengals probably aren't going anywhere, but I'm sure the NFL wouldn't be sad to see them leave the Cincinnati market. Cincinnati is dying as a city...... The crumbling of the airport has made it an unfriendly business environment, and the inaction of the city council has kept the city from forming new avenues for revenue. The market is definitely on the decline.
