Now that Hamilton has won his fifth championship, he is now going to become a test driver for innovations that Mercedes wants to implement for next year? Should be interesting to see how the Mercs handle this race in light of the emergence of Red Bull has another podium contender. Ferrari is facing changes in drivers and some tech and we hsall see how Haas handles the final two races to see if they are advancing to the podium.

Vettel now leads Hamilton, Bottas, and Raikkonen, with Verstappen coming in fifth in FP3. Looks like the way the season started. Apparrently, the retro fit for Ferrari is paying nice dividends.

Not resting on his fifth championship accomplishment, Lewis Hamilton takes the pole in Brazil. Vettel is second, followed by Bottas, Raikkonen, and Verstappen takes fifth.

Watching the post-race and Ocon apparently asked if he could get the lap back from his pit and they said yes. They explained that the reason they said is that they had the tire edge and had the faster car at the moment and probably would have for a bit. Not a good look for Ocon but Verstappen has to be smarter there. Chalk that one up to inexperience on his part.

Hamilton wins it followed by Verstappen, Raikkonen, and Ricciardo. Verstappen was sneaky fast and Ricciardo had a good race finishing fourth. Red Bull is coming on strong here at the end of the season. Haas's drivers finished again in the points-paying positions of 8th and 9th. Their hard work is paying-off!!
