Bruh, that's T-Magic. College football legend. He wrote the book on quarterbacking. He's 93-47 as a head coach. Maybe the QB should have listened.

Yeah he was one of them. The other was Corione Harris, a DB, and he's looked great. Even was on the Big 12 team of the week a couple weeks ago. On top of those two, he brought in 18 3* kids, which is a great foundation all things considered. Pretty stupid firing on their part. I have no idea who they think they're gonna bring in.
That would be an enormous risk. I remember when Turner Gill was the next big coach coming up the ranks, and taking the Kansas job set his career back a decade or so. I think if he continues to have success, he can do MUCH better.Yeah same here. They have to bring in a guy with spread principals IMO. To keep the scheme somewhat similar. According to the AD they want a coach with HC experience. They'll probably have to go the G5 route. Maybe the guy from App State?

I'm thinking they're looking at the FCS ranks if they want guys with HC experience. If I'm an even remotely successful G5 coach, I'm not looking at them as a smart option. If they want a current FBS coach, they're probably looking at coordinators or even position coaches. Seeing what they just did to Beatty was a mistake.Oh I would agree. I'm not saying he'd leave App State, but those are the types of guys/programs they will most likely go after IMO.
App State's HC isn't leaving his alma mater for KU, especially with the UNC job potentially opening up

He's got them Liberty Flames on the cusp of bowl eligibility, maynto be fair to Kansas, Turner Gill kinda sucks

Yeah, they are much better.
AD wants fat Bret!
I agree 100% and said so previously. They could get Beilema and see if being fat translates to decent football at KU
Would it surprise you to see him as their next HC? It wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Good luck. He's built for one style and one style only. I'm not sure the Wisconsin model will translate to Kansas. Didn't to Arkie.No. Not even a little. I am cool with it though.
I thought he just mixed up the 19 recruiting with 2020. And even then just having 1 would not be good. But 1 for 2019! That’s almost impossible at this stage of recruiting. Like zero fucks given, or everyone knew they were gone next year, so what’s the point. Now we know why he was fired because that is inexcusable.
There is a story here we aren't hearing and it's not a pretty one.I thought he just mixed up the 19 recruiting with 2020. And even then just having 1 would not be good. But 1 for 2019! Freeze would work. They need a cheating recruiter. Gonna be tough to win at Kansas without getting some better cruits.I would seriousily consider Lane Kiffin or Hugh Freeze.
