They went for it on 4th cause they were so confident in the line play.

The point was, beaver is saying it was a coaching blunder to accept the holding call when it would have been like 4th and 1 again if they didn't. I was pointing out that didn't work out so well for UW the whole game. He trusted his defense and took the right call.

I mean a beaver is all up your nutsack because he's bitter over UW fans not liking his head coach when he was UW's OC.

Now it’s time to sit back and draw out who to root for to give Oregon best chance at a playoff run. With that OLine and Herbert and the stable of RBs it’s possible

The play calling has been horrendous all year. Yeah the offense has executed poorly, but I never would have thought I'd ever say I'd prefer to have Jonathan Smith over anyone.

Its really starting to get driven home. Its been tough watching a senior year QB adjust to the new young OC whose obviously changed up the offense a lot. Too much. Its had us playing flat all year and its finally caught up with us.
Sucks, but it is what it is.

Washington got what they deserved. A good team does not make all the mistakes the Huskies did today. There is no excuse for losing this game, both losses on the year should have been wins. Pathetic.

I thought, overall, UW should have won, Another Auburn game.

Second straight year they can't find even just a pedestrian kicker. There really is no excuse for not winning that game. None. I don't care where Petersen has to go to find one, but he MUST find a kicker SOMEWHERE before next season.

If only Hamdan would get hired as a HC after this season like Smith did last year.

Wish we could have found a way to keep Tedford. He would of been the perfect situation to keep the offense rolling with how it was built.
Instead we went ended up with a young protege type who has alot of upside, but is making a lot of rookie mistakes. The transition is not been smooth. Its been painful at times.

Accepting the penalty didn't lose the game, but the defensive coverage of the following play was awful. 3rd and 11 and you rush 3 (why do teams do this, why does any defensive coordinator anywhere ever think that rushing 3 is acceptable?) and they still left a guy WIDE OPEN at the sticks. What's the point of getting no pressure on the QB if you're just gonna leave a guy wide open? If you wanna look at a single play that led to the loss that was it. Accepting the penalty was the right call.

Let’s be honest here. Washington was terrible for the PAC as being the top team. They shat themselves routinely OOC, they ran their mouths against the networks screwing the conferences spotlight.
