I'm excited to see what Harry Giles does in the regular season, hopefully he can stay healthy.

Not the best way to show your basketball IQ, lol. But then again, he did play for that little known basketball school in North Carolina named Duke and some coach with an odd name.

2016 #1 ranked High School prospect.

Hopefully, he can go the way of Embiid, not Greg Oden.

Yeah, me too.

I know you would have rather had Doncic.

But, I think Bagley will have a good year, statistically.

I hope he and Giles work well together, Bagley obviously has talent it just depends on if he can reach his full potential. I did prefer Luka but neither has played a regular season game yet, time will tell if that decision was great, horrible, or somewhere in the middle.

he could be a STEAL if he stays healthy and productive.....

I thought the Heat were gonna take him the year they took Bam.
They needed to take a chance on someone like Giles who can be great but comes with big red flags, although with him falling to 20 it wasn't a big risk. They were seriously considering MPJ this year which would have been a much greater risk at #2.

I like that the Kings took the patience approach with Giles.

They got him in a great spot. We know he has talent. Let's just see if his body holds up.

Welp, it was one game (and a pre-season game, no less), but the Lebron/Lonzo pairing looked pretty good last night. They outscored the Warriors 27-24 when they were on the floor together.

Of course, it was the first game where they both played and played together, so "everyone was on their best behavior".

No doubt that when the games really count, there will be some growing pains. But at least they showed a glimpse of how it can work.

Anyone else noticing some horrible officiating in the pre-season? It's been really bad IMO, from what I've seen. Check out this offensive foul call in the Warriors/Lakers game. This has got to be the softest foul ever called in the NBA.
