Why is that? I keep getting told Brady is a system QB so anyone can do it.

Do you think Bill stays once Brady retires? Clearly, Bill is the system (since none of his underlings has seen any success after leaving Bill).

Imagine if he could actually get to another SB. Maybe he could come back from being 25 down. Sorry it had to be said.
Rodgers was every bit as good as Brady in the second half against the Falcons in the playoffs that year, if not a bit better. The Packers scored on every drive after going three and out after taking the second half kickoff, getting it in the endzone every possession except when time ran out. Brady did the same thing, except he did have to settle for a field goal. The biggest difference in the games by far was that Rodgers was only keeping pace with the Falcons offense. The Patriots defense was actually able to shut down the Falcons offense.

Actually the biggest difference was one did it on the way to winning the SB and SB MVP. So yeah they're the same:rolleyes2:

Good news is the Bears get to draft Khalil Mack in the 1st round next year (and then again next year after that too).

So there's that.

We got two no.1s this year then according to your thinking........I`m fine with that…..

Fair enough. That is another difference. No question about it. Of course, based on circumstances, it's far from any kind of reasoning to determine which QB is better. Seriously. I mean, if the Patriot's D had given up 44 points in AFCCG, Brady would have been watching the SB from his couch, too. It's odd that some fan bases don't realize it takes offense, defense and special teams to win games.

Yep, nothing like generalizing and making blanket statements. Most Pats I know are quite aware that it’s a team effort.

Brady even said Rodgers is better.

One has to wonder what he meant by “institutional knowledge” though. Seriously, what a peculiar choice of words.

What did you think he was gonna say,he was the goat...……?

That's what humbleness does,

Well, first, I didn't mention Patriot's fans directly. But if you want me to rephrase that I will. A large number of Patriots fans on this board don't realize it takes offense, defense and special teams to win games. How's that?

So when Brady calls Rodgers the GOAT, he's being humble. When Rodgers calls Brady the GOAT he's correct. Sure, whatever.

Look, defining who the GOAT is is purely subjective. Both QBs are the elite of the elites. Fans can go back and forth with stats and plays and quotes about who said/did what, but there's no list of things to cross off that will definitively label a player the GOAT.

Five rings are great, but it's still a team game. A QB, despite being the most important player on the field in today's NFL, still needs a ton of help from other players. Brady has scored fewer than 20 points in post season games seven times (all losses). Rodgers has never scored fewer than 20 in a playoff loss. It's logical to conclude Brady is a bigger reason for Patriots losses than Rodgers is for Packers losses.

I know I'll never convince Patriots fans that Rodgers is better than Brady. They'll never convince me of the opposite. But it's awesome that Rodgers gives Packers fans enough ammunition to make it a good debate without the rings.

Trust us as NE fans we understand it's a team game. I mean NE allowed him and his defense to steal two SBs.

Aaron Rodgers is the most important person on any team in the NFL. The Packers, as a whole, are a shell of themselves when he's not healthy. He has the most impact on his team out of any other player in the league. It's a team sport, but Aaron Rodgers can change the landscape of the Packers just by being healthy or injured. No other team has a player that they can say that about. It was proven last night.

I totally agree!

Brady has called Montana the Goat, then Manning I can't see Rodgers saying that about anybody, he seems to arrogant to me. When the GB D picked off Wilson 4 times in the half in the NFCcG and GB went up 16-0 at half and then lost. AR said that the better team lost today????? GB wouldn't want anybody but Rodgers, NE with Brady Seattle with Wilson , Philly with Wentz, Pitt prob with Ben etc who gives a fuck Rodgers is awesome no doubt wish Brady could move around like that

Well, you clearly indicated that Brady calling Rodgers the GOAT was due to him being humble. So I did kind of assume you mean the second statement, which is a clearly logical conclusion, as you made no mention of the possibility of there being two GOATS. And others have said what I said as if it was fact, so you wouldn't be the only one to think that.

Yes because in the case you're trying to make rings aren't that important. Stats are. Last time I checked the entire team gets a ring not just the guy with the best stats.

Well, Rodgers did call Brady the Goat. Google will prove that. As far as is comments after the Seahawks game, yea, he was emotional. It was one of his worst playoff games ever and he was speaking off the cuff. Despite everything that went on, if the Packers third string TE would have done what he was assigned to do and block, rather than go after the ball and fumble it, the Packers would have taken a couple knees and won the game. it was one of the worst ways to lose a game, and yes, Rodgers didn't help much throughout the game. Hard to be 100% politically correct moments after a game like that ends.
