Furthermore about Courtney, I am not going against her and also not taking her side bc of what some reporter said BUT there was someone claiming to be Courtney’s cousin and she reported she was far from the victim in this situation. She was saying she was half crazy, an alcoholic and instigated a lot of issues—-doesn’t excuse the abuse. So until we get direct evidence and facts lets not ASSUME anything.

There is evidently proof that Shelley knew through text messages and with her employment through OSU, she is obligated to report due to Title IX. Whether she, or the other coaches and wives allegedly texted, told her husband is the reason why Urban is under leave/investigation. Shelley should definitely face disciplinary actions as she was a direct OSU employee. Whether she and the other wives told their respective husbands (OSU employees) is the issue at hand, as all would also have an obligation to report.

Again....It was not reported to the Title IX department by Urbs OR his wife. Proof is not required. The requirement is knowledge of potential abuse. Do you need a picture?

When you file a lawsuit against your former employer, all details come out.

The thing you keep glossing over is that it's Urban's obligation to report this to his higher ups at Ohio State. Maybe write an email to his bosses detailing what's going on and provide his own recommendations (dismissing Smith) before going forward so that the school avoids a title IX investigation. That way, when the school tries to fire him for voiding his contract, he can come back and say "Douche bags, I actually told you what was going on and here's the paper trail."

As far as he said she said bull shit, she's got photo graphic evidence. Also, a judge is likely going to side with the woman on this when picture evidence exists.

And before you facepalm this post or call me an idiot. You literally brought up that John Harbaugh and Jason Garrett in the NFL should be fired for similar issues related to title IX not even understanding that title IX investigations are tired to universities.

1. Yes, these details come out. If he's fired for something unrelated to performance on the field, yes these details come out. How the hell do they not?

2. I haven't glossed over that at all. If they determine he's guilty of it, so be it. I'm not saying he shouldn't face repercussions if he's guilty of that. I've said he doesn't deserve to be fired at all if he's only guilty of not firing the guy.

3. She has evidence of bruises. Not evidence that he did it. Courts sort of require that.

4. Never once did I say those guys should be fired for matters related to title IX, you're completely off the mark on what I said relating to those two.
