Minor League football will NEVER put a dent in college football.
Fans drive long distances to see their "school" play and cheer
them on. They could give a shit about minor league football.
The WVU fans in Charleston are going to make the 150-mile
drive to Morgantown, not stay in Charleston to watch the Rockets
play the Wheeling Ironmen.
So somebody runs the 40 in .2 of a second less. The average fan
doesn't know that. Besides, fundamentals would greatly improve
in college football.
I disagree. If the NFL was taking the best high school talent and putting them in a minor league, college football would basically be as popular as college baseball. Who wants to watch a bunch of future accountants play football?
