France should be the favorite again. Germany 7-1???? LOL! Maybe if they go with the youth the next few years but that is iffy. Brazil is just behind France. Belgium may age out and same with Spain.

I was listening to Talk Sport from England yesterday and the hosts said in the English sytem Kylian Mbappe would be a unknown if he was English. Wow! Youth gets stuck in a logjam there in the Premier League and it is hard to move up with many big teams going for international talent. So will see if England progresses. They have their doubts in England.

Unfortunately, while we may make the tournament the USSF has set the national team and US soccer back maybe 12 years or more and continue to drive in that direction with no sign of stopping. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, guys.

Seems everyone is saying this is our worst year (going back to last year) in a long time because we missed the WC. In retrospect I look at it as we obviously weren't winning the WC anyway and now guys like McKennie (might have played anyway), Weah, Sargent and some of the other guys are getting to play earlier with the rest of our young core like Pulisic, Yedlin, Brooks, etc against some good squads later this year. We should have gotten rid of the older guys earlier IMO. I wonder if missing the WC ends up a blessing in disguise going forward and right now it seems like with all these young guys now playing and some we don't even know yet 2022 may be our most talented team in quite a long time and maybe ever.
