Around here you are lucky to get 50% of posts on topic. There is always somebody who leads tangents far away from the original topic.

Part of the charm of the NBA boards.

50% huh? But only a few get reprimanded for derailing threads and none of them are Lakers fans...go figure.

:noidea:

for some, no...it isn't. but I'll likely be locked out of this thread just for commenting on a subject that's already been discussed by multiple posters.

Doubtful.

At least 50% of your posts in this forum are aggressively trolling somebody. That is why you get locked out. Not for changing the subject.

By "aggressively trolling somebody", do you mean "responding to people that are calling me a c**t, truck stop cum guzzler, etc." ?

Maybe.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me like you generally start it. If not, then my bad.

Isn't Love an all-star?

Yes, I think the Cavs can win 35 games without LBJ.

The reference to no all-stars was regarding the Lakers team Lebron is joining.

The Cavs winning 35 would be a surprise IMO.

Eastern conference. but yeah, i could see those guys struggling to win to win 35 even at that...
The Lakers without any all stars won 35 wins this last season. It's inconceivable to me that the Lakers wouldn't be able to improve on that 35 wins - with LeBron on the team. I do however, believe 50 wins for the Lakers is a reasonable projection and I have found it to be one that most people who are OBJECTIVE about it - believe the same thing.

The Cavaliers without LeBron even in the Eastern Conference will do good to win 20 to 25 wins at the best in my opinion and that would be only if they keep Kevin Love. They would be smarter to trade Love for some younger players and tank it

Starting to like that 14 second reset rule for offensive rebounds. Wondering if there's a chance the nba uses it in the real season...

I don't. Love isn't that good.

Ever since Lebron want back to Cleveland from Miami the Cavs have had a winning percentage of less than 18% when Lebron doesn't play. And that was with Kyrie on the team.

They're probably not going to be the worst team in the league but barring a miracle I don't see them hitting close to 30

Kormaz has made a great case for getting more PT in the regular season.

Zhaire Smith looks like he could be a really good player.

Rookie standouts from Summer League...

1. Sexton is going to be good.

2. SGA will quickly become my favorite Clipper.

3. Mitchell Robinson was a great pick in the 2nd round.

4. Lakers rookies, SVI, Mo, can shoot it.

5. Anfernee Simmons is a fucking baller.

6. Brunson can affect a game on the NBA level, even when his shot isn't falling.

7. Kevin Knox is better than I gave him credit for.

8. Was Carter Jr.this good in College?!?!

9. Harry Giles playing with fire.

10. Allonso Trier should make the Knicks roster. He gets buckets.

If the Cavs win the summer league I'm jumping on their bandwagon.

"Resting" players during summer league means they were just hungover. If the league wants to cut this horseshit out once & for all they'll move the league to city where you can't have any fun. Provo, Utah!
