I went with
Vikes in the North
Atlanta or New orleans in the South (the other as a wild card)
Eagles in the East
Rams in the West.

Only voted on 5 teams because I think the 6th spot is gonna be between about 5 teams.

Panthers lose. Zekes gonna take 2017 frustrations out on you all.

At least that's how I hope it goes.

Panthers have a good team. I can see them, NO, or ATL winning the division.
I don't know about that Bro. They had the 3rd best rush defense last year at 88 yards per game. Difference is this year is Thomas Davis will be out so that will hurt a bit.

I am surprised that some 42% of respondents as of Tuesday morning seem to think Dallas is going to the playoffs. Have you looked at the team's receivers and tight ends?

GB is lock?? Why ?? Lol. That team is nowhere near as good as Atlanta. GB will be the 6 if they get in but that roster isnt very good. If it weren't for Rodgere they'd be lucky to go 6-10
True, but with Rodgers they are better than Atl:2cents:

I've looked at the rest of the team. I really like both lines especially the OL. The TE and WR should be fine. I know you're thinking no Witten and no Dez = NO Way, but if you give it a fair look, the Cowboys are not replacing Pro-bowlers here.

With Tryon Smith healthy and Zekes suspension behind him, I think you'll see the 2016 Cowboys offense. Zeke ran in teams and it didn't matter how high they ranked.

The Cowboys will go as far as Ezekiel Elliott will take them. He is their most important offensive player. The problem is that he is going to take a pounding and that could hurt him late in the year.

Dez and Witten were the best receiving options on the team. I think Dez was your prototypical prima donna receiver and I think his being off the team will help more than hurt. He was Dak primary target and Dak went to him way too many times because Dez had clearly lost a step. The biggest problem the Cowboys have now is they do not have a single receiver that teams need to worry about.

The loss of Witten is going to be the biggest blow to the offense. He was not the All Pro TE that most of us were used to but he was still better than most. On top of that he was a two-way TE and they are hard to find these days. A TE that is a very good block and receiver is a luxury. He was a beast in the middle of the field and the Cowboys no longer have that either.

The Cowboys probably have the best offensive line in the NFL when healthy at a minimum they are top 3.

Health is going to be an important factor for the Cowboys. They have no depth and cannot afford to lose any key starters. I can't see the 2016 Offense making an appearance. They have Dak and Zeke. That is it. Teams are going to crowd the box and force the Cowboys to beat them with the passing game.

Just a few years ago, I'd agree. Witten gave Dak an out, but his production had dropped dramatically. Dez hasn't been the Dez you're thinking about since 2014. Injuries hurt his game. Pre injury his lack of proper route running could be dealt with. Post injury he got no separation and somehow forgot how to catch. He demanded the ball too much and his production didn't keep up. Replacing 2017 Dez and Witten wont be as difficult as some might think.

No doubt that Witten and Dez were not as good as earlier in their careers. But they still commanded attention from defenses. Who now commands attention from defenses in the Dallas passing game? The biggest answer is probably Cole Beasley, seriously.

I think the best bet for Dallas is going to be starting rookies at TE and WR, and they have some decent prospects in Dalton Schultz and Michael Gallup, but that may take some time to bear fruit.

I hear what your saying about Dez and he was a major problem on the team. I did a quick check and saw he was targeted 133 times last year, Jason Witten was second with 87. That is just insane of you ask me. Even in the twilight of his career I felt Witten was one of the best players around.

I have heard the argument that without Dez the Cowboys will be forced to spread the ball around. I think that is a fair argument and actually think it will help Dak in the long run provided he is seeing the whole field fast. He is going to possibly need a learning curve on that and may struggle early on because I think separation is going to be a problem for Cowboy receivers.

Every NFL thread turns into a Dallas V Philly shit sandwich

You both suck....there I said it :suds:

Nah...not really. You want to see some serious action? Start a thread on the Pats...or better yet....Tom Brady.

Philly, Minny, and LA are no brainers. Hard to bet against GB and NO because of the QBs even though those teams are in decline. Atl and Dal are pretty close but I will go with Atl due to coaching.

GB not a lock for the playoffs huh? If bitch boy Anthony Barr doesn’t try to get 15 minutes of fame, GB is going for their 10 straight playoff birth this season.

The fact that GB is wholly dependent on Aaron Rodgers tells you they are no lock.

Healthy Rodgers they'll make it

Lost for season again, they'll miss it

If their defense gets better, they'll be SB contendors
