I don’t think its a great thing that we pretty much know how the seasons going to play out before it starts, but how is that the NBA’s fault?

Both sides go the table during times of CBA.

End of the day the billionaires can outlast the millionaires if they now truly realize they need change.

As far as importance of titles, Im sure every Warriors player, fan, or interested party is enjoying every second of this and not really worrying about the opinions of others.

As a Warrior fan going back to the late 1970s, yes enjoying this. We had one of the biggest dumpster fire organizations under Chris Cohan and even before that. An inept front office that could get nothing right and this went on for years. So yea, we are enjoying this.

Same opinion as the colluding stacked heat and cavs teams. It’s horrible for the league. Warriors may only lose 5-6 games all season long next year. Take a stacked team that has won the last 3 out of 4 ships and make them even MORE unstoppable? This league has a serious problem. Too easy to make super teams

It’s a fucking JOKE. Why even have a league? No one else is gonna stand a chance next year

We'll see. That is why the games are played. You never know with injuries and other issues that can come up.

It's gotten to the point of laughable and ridiculous, but whatever keeps LeBron from winning a title I'll root for.

The one thing that is hard to get upset with the Warriors is these aren't trades, these are all-stars taking big pay cuts to go play and win rings. So it's different than the NBA blocking the Paul to Lakers trade, because again, these aren't trades, just GS working free agency.

It looks bad for the league but I don't think the Warriors will be able to keep him long term. If he returns to form after the injury, he is going to want to get paid.

And he is going to want the ball. He won't get along with Green.

Why? Only about 4-5 teams can even compete by adding him. The rest of the league just hurting their draft position

Cousins doesn't exactly help a team like the warriors. He needed to go to a team that gives him high production opportunities. More likely, GS will just bench him if the warriors don't play well with him on the court. I think GS did it to keep other teams from getting him, not that they are going to treat him any better(or equal to) than NO and Sacramento.

What does this even mean?

It means Cousins is not a team player. He wants to be the star of the team, and it's not possible with Curry and Durant. GS thinks talent is enough, but Cousins is not a complimentary player, he is a "me first" player. If you don't think so, look at how he stayed in the games in Sacaramento when the kings were getting blown out. He wants the ball. And he has a very aggressive style of play that leads to him committing a high volume of turnovers.

I played DFS and Cousins was absolutely the player I always wanted to own because he always got his. Cousins would turn up 60-70 DFS points in more nights than not pre-Karl for Sacramento. One thing I noticed is he could turn it over a ton but made up for it with his other skills, skills that didn't necessarily help his team more than fantasy owners.

Now I said I wanted him for mavs, but that's because mavs play at the pace that suits him and he can be the star of the team. GS's pace is faster than Sacramento by a large margin.

My opinion is that it made a league that was already boring due to an extreme lack of parity even more boring and pointless. The regular season, and now even the playoffs to a large extent, are pretty meaningless. As a casual fan who roots for a team that is destined to always find a way to suck, it's hard to get interested when the champs are all but predetermined every season, especially with how ridiculously stacked the Warriors have gotten. I don't understand how anyone would find it entertaining unless they're a Warriors homer.

People bring up LeBron in Miami and the 90's Bulls to say it's been like this before. No, it hasn't. While those teams were extremely good, they weren't so stacked that they had zero legitimate competition. There were still always a few teams that could at least give them solid competition for the titles. With how stacked the Warriors are currently, anything short of winning the Finals in 4 or 5 games would be a joke.

But you said the Warriors weren't going to treat him any better. That makes absolutely no sense lol. If anything the Warriors give him a platform to rebuild his image and give him first class tutoring on the subject. They give him all the time he needs to recover without any rush back from his injury. If anything the Warriors will treat him WAAAY better than any other organization has because this deal is 90/10 in favor of Cousins. The 10% is really just Cousins potentially putting them over the top for another finals run. Other than that this is all beneficial to Cousins.

Also it's the lowest risk for the Warriors. Worst case scenario is that if he's not fitting in, they cut his ass. No big deal. It's a one year contract for the Mid-Level of 5.3M. So either Cousins adapts or he's gone.
