I am going to be honest about the Cowboys' offensive line

It's not great.

You see, Dallas has three great offensive linemen. That's no doubt impressive, but offensive lines consist of five players. And they can't seem to find decent guys to man the other two spots. So their starting line is actually quite overrated.

On top of that, they have no depth. I mean, zero depth. Last year, when their LT got hurt, the backup, Chaz Green, was so bad against the Falcons that some career scrub named Adrian Clayborn got six sacks in a single game. He had eight sacks total the entire year, his best ever.

So, to summarize, Dallas has three great offensive linemen, but only 3/5 of a great offensive line. Discuss.

Yea, basically, he looks to be overrated. He looked better at guard IMO but after Doug Free retired they moved him to RT and he was not so good there. He seems to have athletic limitations at OT for the NFL.

Yah he had a terrible year. PFF had him ranked very low. But it was a new position and apparently he wants to stay there... perhaps an offseason will help him. No reason the Boys should give up on him yet.

Martin was atrocious in San Francisco, but he is a 23-year-old former second-round pick with a near-minimum salary. He's worth bringing to Browns OTAs.

Just a couple years ago the Cowboys had one of the best offensive lines in the league. What the hell happened?

I think its a fair statement about their oline but in today's NFL its really, really rare to see any sustained level of great oline play imo.

Philly also arguably had one of the best dlines in football last year so that might change perceptions a little bit. If Philly's dline regresses and Dallas' oline stays healthy then this conversation might look different next year.
