Very creative way for Harbaugh to process out a player.Yeah....he's toast and might get a felony as a parting gift

Nah. It's funny, people outside the program and non-fans keep suggesting there's this looming pressure to win that simply doesn't exist.
The way I see it, if Michigan can consistently win 10 games a year it won't take much for us to have elite years spring off that. What I don't want is to send the program into chaos again and go through coaching changes every 3-4 years.Glad to see that you true Michigan fans have accepted the mediocrity.
Can't wait to renew this rivalry with this walking/talking neurosis pissing on the sidelines.

Pressure mounting on Jim Harbaugh
CBS Sports Videos•Apr 11, 2018, 9:13 AM
On CBS Sports HQ, college football writer Dennis Dodd joins Hakem Dermish to discuss that Harbaugh needs to improve in the Big Ten, especially against Penn State, ohio state and Michigan State.

He has to beat rivals, but I think the timetable for that is being moved up by outside sources. Fans will grumble loudly if he doesn't beat MSU or OSU this year. But this year isn't a make or break year as some are suggesting.I see a possible avi bat coming on!!!
You're absolutely right, but ohio state and Notre Dame are our rivals ... to a lesser degree Michigan State ... but we gotta win some of those games especially ohio state (I don't normally edit peoples quote, but ohio state does deserve capital letters).
... we gotta beat our rivals ... I like Harbaugh and I am not ready to send him to the scrap heap, but I am in looking toward the scrap heap ... gotta win those games.
And now back to our regularly scheduled thread.Harbaugh is responsible for the possible denuclearization of North Korea.

Well, it's worked out OK I'd say. He's consistently won games after Michigan had failed to win more than 7 games 5/8 of the previous years. He came a hypothetical few inches short of a playoff birth. That's more than what I can say of the 8 years prior. It's certainly not where we want to be yet, but there's no arguing we're in a much better place now. We've had a top 10 defense ever since he got here. I love that. I'm confident that given time, Harbaugh will have us where we need to be as a program. People are so easily willing to forget the dumpster fire that was Michigan football just a few years ago. The fact that these expectations exist, shows me that Harbaugh has already changed things for the better here.Don't fool yourself into thinking Jimmy Jam doesn't have pressure to win. He hasn't won anything & from the moment he returned to ann arbor he was supposed to be some kind of miracle worker/coaching genius. How has that worked so far? The problem is if they get rid of him who would they replace him with?
He’s consistently won the easy games, has never won a big game. His biggest win was against Penn State who was fresh off a loss to Pitt and was a completely different team by year’s end. He needs to do better in winning the tough games. He essentially is Lloyd Carr at the end of his time at Michigan.Well, it's worked out OK I'd say. Sure -- on the other hand, Michigan couldn't win the easy games prior to him coming here. Getting us back to Lloyd Carr is a necessary step and one I certainly won't complain about (yet). He’s consistently won the easy games, has never won a big game. And I can name some coaches that took some time to get off the ground. See Dabo at Clemson after 3 years.....Dantonio at MSU after 3 years....How much time is he supposed to be given though? You really think if he loses to Ohio State & Michigan State again there's still no pressure on him? And while he took over a bad program he still doubled the win total in his 1st year. He's in his 4th year. I can name a few HC's that took over programs & won it all in less time or in their 4th year. I've said countless times I think he's a very good HC. But I don't think he's 1 of the elite HC's right now.
Damn, I'm ready for CFB.

Dantonio walked into a completely different situation than Harbaugh. Harbaugh has a great defense and two top ten classes as upper classes. They had legit players with shitty coaching. Which would you rather have as a head coach; 16, 34, and 44 classes vs 6, 4, and 20 classes? Plus it’s significantly easier to recruit to Michigan rather than MSU. Shit I would take Hoke 10 times out of 10 over JLS.And I can name some coaches that took some time to get off the ground. See Dabo at Clemson after 3 years.....Dantonio at MSU after 3 years....
You forgot his Grammy. It's not really a post on what he has won ... that's cut and dry. It is not a post on whether he is on the hot seat ... top rated College Football Coaches are always on the hot seat (or a year away), a 3-9 season would even make Urban Meyer or Nick Saban uncomfortable. These coaches are paid to win ... bottom line.
And now back to our regularly scheduled thread.
Don't kid yourself, but Harbaugh is a finalist for the Nobel Prizes in Physics, Medicine, Literature and Peace. I can't supply you with any links because there are National Security concerns.

Nice try. But Dabo & Dantonio didn't arrive @ their places w/ the massive expectations & overblown hype like Jimmy Jam. The situations weren't the same.
Very true. But "Jimmy Jam" also turned a 5 win team into a 10 win team in a single season and has a 3 year record better than both previously mentioned coaches. So.....Nice try. But Dabo & Dantonio didn't arrive @ their places w/ the massive expectations & overblown hype like Jimmy Jam. The situations weren't the same.
