The Knicks are exactly who we thought they were except delusional knicks fans. I'm not sure anyone thought they would be better than 10th in the East. Most probably had them at 11th. Charlotte was expected to be better than them

Exactly. Not sure what Pasta expected. The fact that they are technically still in the playoff race this late in the season is very surprising.

He expects them to consistently beat more talented teams. According to him, they would if they learned to box out and if they played harder.

where are you Tlance, trojanfan? hornysuk was fired, as he should have been long ago! he's had MULTIPLE players here in NY with various talents, players who have succeeded elsewhere b4 coming here, who are now having success since leaving...

so why was he fired?

did i not also say portsingus gettin hurt if he stayed here?

BS. He had veteran players far over the hill and a couple young players with actual talent.

They have an awful roster. It does not matter who they hire. They aren't winning 30 games next year. That has always been my point.

They had a bad record. Hornacek got fired. Still not his fault. We won't know if he is actually a decent coach unless he gets another opportunity with a better roster. Honestly, that may not ever happen for him unless he is willing to pay his dues as an assistant first.

I don't know what you are taking about.

The Knicks would have been bad this year no matter who their coach was. A point that is clearly lost on you. Yet, somehow you think Hornacek getting fired proves you right. It doesn't.

Just like Scott Brooks has a career 430 - 279 record. Does that make him a good coach? No it doesn't. Some rosters are supposed to win, some are built to lose. The Knicks, despite effort to the contrary fall in the latter category.

I guarantee that had Steve Kerr decided to take the Knicks job 4 years ago you would have talked about him the same way. Because the Knicks would have sucked under him too.

Because Jeff Hornacek is a bad coach, obviously.

Umm....

Who?

There is nobody in the Cavs rotation that Hornacek ever coached with the Knicks. And if you are talking about JR Smith and Jose Calderon as if they are coveted players, then LOL.

When you are over the cap, you take the best of what you can get, you don't just go sign anybody you want.

Exactly. The Knicks could have hired Pop with Pat Riley and Brad Stevens as his assistants and dug up Red Auerbach as an adviser and they still would have sucked. At some point, no matter who the coach is, you have to have guys who can play.

mutt & jeff, you should have stayed away! WTF!!!

in prior posts you claim the knicks roster to be flawed, now you say the players playing for the cavs didn't play under hornysuk.
