3rd straight double digit L for OKC.
3rd straight double digit L for OKC.
Donovan's gonna get fired, further cementing Carmelo's rep as a coach killer.
3 wins out of 3rd place. Should be able to close January pretty strong. Steven Adams has been the key. He went 12 for 13 against the Cavs with his only miss being a 3 pointer. Melo and PG continue to get more comfortable.
Haven't seen many OKC games recently. Do you think PG and Melo are simply getting more comfortable within the offense, or have there been any shifts in the offense to cater to them a bit more? Or has there been some other reason for a bit better cohesiveness?
6 in a row vs bad teams.
No they aren't.
But they sure were playing like bad teams at the time of the OKC matchup.
Interesting on TNT the other night, Barkley saying they are still the 5th best team in the West. Reggie Miller disagreed with him courtside and said you just have to see up close how defensively imposing this team is when they want to be. Said they will be a tough out for anyone, guess we will see.
I think they're the 3rd best team (possibly 2nd best) in the West when it comes to playoffs basketball.
Still need to see them do this more and win more games on the road vs good teams. The lack of quality road wins they have is stunning. Their only really good road win was against Cleveland then they have 3 other solid wins against avg teams in Indy, Milwaukee, and Philly.
0 road wins vs the other 7 playoffs team in the playoffs and just 5-8 vs those teams
Totally agreed. His post could have been worded differently. Almost looked like he was trying to discredit his own team 6 game win streak even though they beat 2 playoffs teams in that 6 game stretch and likely finals representative from the eastern conference.
