Think we had Bears fans be overzealous about Mr. Trubearski?

Do you think we're too quick to jump the gun on Watson?

Poor Kizer stans.

Did you think you would be spared a Mahomes hype thread on the NFL Forum despite only starting 1 game this season? THINK AGAIN.

It's a little cliché but you certainly can't tell me that them drafting Mahomes and putting a little pressure on Smith didn't contribute to his good season or at least his very hot start.

But at the end of the day the Chiefs are the Chiefs, Alex Smith is Alex Smith, and Andy Reid is Andy Reid. If they don't want to waste more years of their window as one of the best teams in the AFC Mahomes could be their option, even though Smith did as well as they could possibly have hoped he would do this year.

Peyton manning and Joe Montana could have a love child, and he would still lose the big game if Andy Reid was the coach

No player in the league I feel worse for than Pat Mahomes next year

You chose Peyton as your example of someone who wasn't a choke artist?!

I totally think the hype train for Mohomes is out of control. Talk about his arm strength? JaMarcus Russell says hello. It's about how you perform under pressure in the NFL. Until you show you can handle it Phfff.

That Trubisky bum. Does he even have an arm? Did he even average 7 yards an attempt? Nagy gonna be nagging on that scrub. Imagine picking him over Mahomes who is obviously superior in every way... sitting behind Glennon, tears in my eyes!

Watson is ok, but does anyone else think he’s more like an RG4? Can’t quite put my finger on it, but I don’t think he’ll ever be the same in Houston. People keep saying he’s great, but he’s no Mahomes when it is all said and done— to be perfectly honest

Cam Newton came back down to earth after his good year two years ago. Matt Ryan came down to earth after his good year last year.

When Alex Smith drops from an 8.6 YPA 26/5 guy to a 7.2 YPA 21/7 guy then is that worth keeping Mahomes on the bench?

I think I'm actually okay with the decision either way. Alex Smith played well enough to stay on the team but I'm not sure the Chiefs have the pieces to win it all next year without a badass draft

Remember when Jamarcus Russell threw a ball 80 yards from his knees. Man he had some special arm talent .... Lol

I like Mahomes a lot though . Personally I think he could use another year but he will be fine either way
