My biggest surprise is the Pacers. I expected Olidepo to play better this season, but not this much better and have the team working as well. I projected them to have close to this win total at the end of the year, not the midpoint.

My biggest disappointment, being a Pistons fan, has been Stanley Johnson. I had big expectations of him this year. He finally broke into the starting job and fizzled. Can't hit a shot and while he can play solid d he chooses to take too many risks at times. He seems to think he should be the #1 option though is on the floor with Harris, Drummond, Jackson, and Bradley.

Most Lakers fans expected low to mid 30's......not 25-28 wins

After exactly 41 games they are 14-27. That's after Lonzo's very slow start and dealing with several key players missing games due to injury.

If they stay healthy, they should be able to win 16-18 games over the 2nd half of the season and get to 30-32 or so wins.

Even if they only finish around 28 wins, as long as they continue to develop and be competitive in almost all of their games, Lakers fans will be fine with it.

Heck, if they just improved their free throw shooting a little, they'd have about 18-19 wins right now. The one mistake that Magic and Pelinka have made was apparently hiring Shaq to coach free throws. lol

Nothing surprising about the Blunder's failures. You put 3 career loser low IQ players on one team, you can't expect any lick amount of success.

Im surprised the Cavs are as bad as they are (even with injuries to key players). I thought adding a little bit of depth would help. But then again, Rose/Thomas haven't really played. But the biggest surprise is their lack of defense. I mean its "2000s Phoenix Suns bad"

Defense is awful.

But, the Cavs have literally gone through stretches like this every single year since LeBron returned. Way too early to write them off.

Surprises....

1. Celtics beasting without Hayward

2. Victor Olidipo

3. The Knicks

4. Both former Teams of Melo, George have greatly benefited from their absence.

5. Lou Williams and Montrzl Harrell are the Clippers best players.

6. Kuzma, Mitchell being top 4 rookies

Disappointments....

1. That Doc still has a job.

2. The Clippers once again have 3 All injured NBA 1st Team HOFers

Not sure about that
Saddest Dudes on that roster has to be Exum and Hood.

Mitchell is the future and I like him and Rubio as backcourt mates.

Fuck paying Rodney Hood.

Oladip was recently asked why he has played so much better after leaving OKC. He gave Westbrook a lot of credit by saying he learned how to put in the work by being around him.

Nobody works harder than Westbrook. That is for sure.

Pistons are closer to home court in the first round than they are not being in the first round.

True.

.......and don't call me Shirley.
On a serious note: is Avery Bradley gonna get suspended?

Or go to prison?

I really was hoping he'd be back, but now I'd rather see StanVan flip him.
