I know, they were very impressed with each other. I just think Magic's game would work better in the modern era than Larry's.

Don't think. It's not your strength.

He would have 80, 15 and 15

Lebron would have been a center in the 50's and he would have been getting beat on by guys just as big as him.

No.

But that is the point. The centers were "as big as him".

Nobody could hold his jock athletically. He would have been able to literally do whatever he wanted. In fact, had he shown up the 50s, opposing teams would have insisted on testing to make sure LeBron was human.

LeBron would have simultaneously been the biggest, fastest, strongest and most skilled player on the floor. Saying he would have been limited to playing center assumes tremendous stupidity on behalf of his coaches.

Jordan's team in his early years? Maybe 1 or 2 years he averages close to 40.

In his wiser, latter years where his teams were really good, I doubt it.

He wouldn't have shown up in the 50's which is why these bullshit inter-era comparisons started by the OP are silly.

Lebron would have spent his career crying like a bitch if he played in the 80's. The Celtics, Pistons, Sixers and ........................ well everybody but the Lakers (because they were pussies) would have taken turns kicking his ass all over the court.

He would be a nice player, an allstar for sure. But not 'Larry Legend'. Just a hunch.

Maybe true.

Especially if you are playing by today's set of rules.

Larry wouldn't be able to move five feet without someone like Harden flopping like a fish out of water to get a foul called on Bird.

Had he shown up in the 50s, he wouldn't have had the training, dieting and supplements that made him what he is today so no.....he wouldn't be that dominant because he wouldn't be the athlete he is today.

This is true,

But again, he wouldn't average 40 playing for a contending team like OP tries to suggest.

Yeah, you have to consider the source with the OP. The way the game is played today, I don't think anyone could average 40 playing for a contending team.

The Lakers winning more titles in the 80's and 2 of 3 head to head championship series still stings huh?

Not at all. Basketball is for pussies that can't skate and the Celtics still have more championships than the Fakers.

BTW, ever been to Minneapolis?
