All of you making this go 15 pages need a hobby.
I mean really? What do you think the chances that the team will say yup we have troubles with a capital T.
Make a ship in a bottle, knitting something for God sakes.
Some would say this is a hobby.

In old age I guess not enough praise from the coach with Brady getting sick of it

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-tom-brady-grew-weary-124703052.html

Specific mention was made of Belichick lighting into Brady after a sloppy (18-of-38, two interception) performance against the Texans “in a way nobody had ever seen, ripping Brady for carelessness with the ball.”

“This will get us beat,” Belichick reportedly said, in front of the entire team. “We were lucky to get away with a win.”

But Brady has always been able to withstand the criticism, knowing that it comes as part of working with Belichick. Apparently that has changed as he’s aged. Citing Brady’s new reliance on “positive thinking,” it seems he has simply gotten tired of “Belichick’s negativity and cynicism.”

In a system where no player is bigger than the team, that even includes the star quarterback. But Brady has reportedly griped about the approach, and mentioned to others that he hasn’t won Belichick’s “Patriot of the Week” award all year.

But seriously, you didn't state that second sentence. You said that the credit for their rings goes to Carroll and Quinn their last two times. That's what's wrong. Obviously their decisions affected the outcome, but the reason they were in that position was because of everything that led up to those final plays. Do those plays have a larger percentage of isolated impact on the game than, let's say, a single first down in the 4th quarter? Sure. But do those plays have a larger percentage of impact on the game than all the other plays combined? No. They don't. Because without those plays leading up to it, those plays don't happen. So like I said, the game is 60 minutes.
I don't think it's wrong . So I guess we are at an impasse l
Yeah, because no team has ever stopped a running back from the one yard line...

Ever.

And Atlanta...well...Yeah, I'm still not surprised.
You guys spend years making fun of Seattle and a year making fun of Atlanta for "choking " yet when someone agrees with you you all get upset. You know that choking means that your team lost the game because of their own actions right ?? You can't say someone choked and at the same time claim credit for the win. It's gotta be one or the other

Kraft ain't goin' anywhere.....he's the owner, he writes the checks.
Brady ain't goin' anywhere....he's the catalyst that generates the electricity and success on the field.

Belichick is the third man out if there is truly a division and parting of the ways.

If you read the article, it's almost as if Wickersham was present for every single meeting between any of the three and was allowed to sit in and tape them. Problem is, the guy has never been inside the Gillette inner sactum. I've been in BB's office. I did some insurance work in BB's Ass't office and Nick Carserio's office on the third floor. There are no windows and the office door is solid steel with no window. There are no exterior windows. The office is not accessible without a special laser key.

MY guess is that Wickersham's piece is about 5% fact, 90% conjecture, and 5% bullshit.

Kraft ain't goin' anywhere.....he's the owner, he writes the checks. Correct.
Belichick is the third man out if there is truly a division and parting of the ways. Correct.
Brady ain't goin' anywhere....he's the catalyst that generates the electricity and success on the field. Incorrect. Belichick is the only GOAT on that team. Brady is the beneficiary of playing for the GOAT

When Brady stays, and Bill goes, New England will go 7-9 next year.

Then explain.

The patriots got much more than a second round pick.

For one, they got Hoyer in the deal. The pats would not have traded Jimmy to the 49ers unless the 49ers agreed to RELEASE Hoyer as opposed to include him in the trade. The pats would have never traded Jimmy to the Browns (or any other team) bc nobody else could given them a back up QB they were comfortable with. Why did the pats insist that hoyer be released as opposed to included in the deal? Two reasons.

First, hoyer has guaranteed money left on his existing contract. By releasing hoyer the 49ers must pay him that money. If he had been included in the trade the pats would have had to pay it. Now, the pats can sign hoyer for less money bc part of his salary is being paid by the 49ers.

Second, by not including hoyer in the trade the pats don't get dinged on the compensatory pick formula that is done every year. Now I'm gonna pretend that I understand the formula, how it works, how hoyer not being traded affects that, etc but I did read that including hoyer in the deal would have adversely affected the pats in that formula therefore he was released.

So, the pats REALLY got a second round pick, a veteran backup QB that they are comfortable with at a reduced price for the next couple of years and a little bump in the compensatory pick formula.

If he knew, he wouldn't have waited till the 6th round. BB was looking for a backup, period.

Hahahaha

So he should have spent a high draft choice on somebody nobody would have drafted high or on somebody that wasn't on some teams draft boards?

In other words...

Blockbuster.
