You're missing the point . I'm not disagreeing on NE being the better team or other plays impacting the game . In stating that in both games the Pats probably had less than a 10% chance to win when Carroll and Quinn made their decisions . That means the odds of NE winning BOTH games was likely less than 1%. You're a smart dude so I'm guessing you're just debating to debate and that's fine .

But seriously, you didn't state that second sentence. You said that the credit for their rings goes to Carroll and Quinn their last two times. That's what's wrong. Obviously their decisions affected the outcome, but the reason they were in that position was because of everything that led up to those final plays. Do those plays have a larger percentage of isolated impact on the game than, let's say, a single first down in the 4th quarter? Sure. But do those plays have a larger percentage of impact on the game than all the other plays combined? No. They don't. Because without those plays leading up to it, those plays don't happen. So like I said, the game is 60 minutes.

I can't predict what the Browns will do, but I see some scouts have Rosen over Darnold. Either way, I would not underestimate what a Belichick could do with a top QB prospect. Rosen might have a bad personality but he also has a very good arm and prototype pocket QB tools on paper.

Hot Tub in his dorm room
LMFAO

That doesnt bother me about Rosen, the fact that his teammates reportedly hated him definitely bothers me

Imagine the Browns end up with Rosen and Barkley

"The source of discontent between Brady and Belichick appears to be three-fold: Brady’s well-chronicled relationship with controversial body coach and business partner Alex Guerrero, ..."

It isn't fair to drag Brady's sexual preferences into this

Yeah, that was Jamal Charles

The home loss to Baltimore was the worst ever postseason QB performance Ive ever seen

Worse than Andy Dalton 7 times
Remember how good the combo of Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk was in 2008? I know it's not Jamaal Charles, but don't act like Cassel was turned into a God by Belichick and then became the worst QB in the world once he left.

As for the playoff game.

Kerry Collins against Baltimore in the Super Bowl? Brian Hoyer against KC 2 years ago? Daunte Culpepper against the Giants in 2000?

Who hates who more?
Brady hates Belichick
or
Jordan hates Horace Grant
or
Danny Ainge hates Robert Horry?

Another great line from the article. About after the Pats traded Jimmy.

"Kraft hugged Brady when he saw him that week, in full view of teammates."

It would be weird if Kraft DIDN'T hug him. Kraft hugs everyone. All the time. He has kissed Vince Wilfork more than his wife.

Good One, and that Hoyer vs the Chiefs one is good too

Definitely some of the worst games we will ever see, probably all on the same level of dog shitedness

I like this one:

7-15
41 yards
0 TDs
1 INT
25.7 QBR

And the win!

Guess the QB.

Ah, poor, poor Thommy. All he had was Maroney and Dillon combining for 1900 yards from scrimmage the season before. He was so fucked!

Our local sports radio show has lost their minds. Saying Bill Belichick will be the next Lions HC after he leaves New England after the end of the year.

You mean two years before, when his main target was Reche Caldwell.

Dallas sports talk knows better. There is absolutely no way BB could or would work with JJ. Ever.

Peyton Manning
Peyton's worst performance in a win was the divisional round in 2006 against Baltimore.

15-30, 170 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, 39.6 rating

Also not great in the Super Bowl win against Carolina obviously.

13-23, 141 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 56.6 rating

Although I said it back then. He didn't turn the ball over deep in his own territory. Which gave his team a chance.

I get that this story makes for tremendous interest because of the personalities involved. But when you think about it, you have three ultra competitive-high profile personalities who have worked well for over a decade. It would be extremely unusual for there not to be some clash in personalities
