It's a pretty safe assertion, Carroll's fired how many coaches since coming to Seattle? Sherman Smith, is that it?

yeah, good point... He's as loyal as they come but he did fire that person 10 months or so ago so there is some hope... :D

Not sure if someone brought this up, but we have the 18th pick in this years draft...

Yeah it's been talked about... We most likely will trade down a few times to accumulate more picks, imo...

Exactly - I don't think we have to study too hard on the first round talent this year....

Obviously it depends who is available, but this team needs a RB in a bad way. I dont think a pick in the 90-115 range would be too high.

Just my opinion but I think RB is toward the bottom of the list. 90-115 range should be a pick on either line or replenishing depth on D.

I think we'll draft a RB but not in the top 4 rounds... I think we'll grab one rounds 5-7...

I agree. Too many holes to fill and some other areas of the team needs to be replenished. I personally like what we have at RB, just need some lanes to run through.

kamryn pettway is a big back with power, he would be a good fit. hard to say at this point but could be around with our 4th pick as he doesn't have breakaway speed.

i think RB is a bigger need than that. if we get a new OL coach we might not need to spend another top pick on another OL.

Even if the Hawks get a fresh start with a new o-line coach, do you have any faith that Ifedi can develop? Me, I have to draft his back up/possible future replacement before I take a RB.

i guess my so called vendetta for Bennett wasn't one after all was it? look at all you people hating on him HAHAHA

Yeah i just saw a long time ago what you all are finally seeing now.

The 18th pick i bet gets turned into a late 1st and a 3rd then that 3rd is turned into a 4th and a 6th or 7th. Some might not like the sound of that but it's about on par with how they have done it before. I always felt like they get the short end of pick trades.

i think we are definitely trading down, probably multiple times and theres a chance we dont pick in round 1 again. i think the fact that we havent had any 1st round picks in several drafts is really coming back to bite us.

The guy that would actually make a good fit on our team is RB Rashaad Penny, San Diego St... He's a work horse who features breakway speed... I don't think he's getting as much hype as he should... He reminds me a lot of Jordan Howard, RB for the Bears... He's a back that can catch the ball very well, too... Specifically look at highlight 3:40 run...

Wasn't your issue with Bennett about his play? He's still a good player, but now older and also brought a lot of politics to the playing field this year that ended up being a distraction (according to PC). The time is right to let him go. It wasn't a year ago.

But it's good to see you didnt waste a chance to pat yourself on the back.

penny looks nice, but he isnt a tackle breaker. pettway is a big and strong, reminds me of blount a little bit and could be available in the 4th.

Nope i even stated he was a good player just not great and really not worth the Headache in the baggage he brings with him for the money. Things like saying "pay the man" ( couple years ago ) He has been a distraction on this roster ever since he thought he was some super hot first ballet HoFer. His play on the field very well could have costed the Hawks their 2nd Superbowl. His offsides have hurt this team so often and this is nothing knew, and his undisciplined play started to over flow onto other players ( just look at Clark ). If there is a poster child for signing a person to one to many Contracts his picture would be clearly all over it. Hawks could use that 10 Mill.

and you are damn right i wont waste my chance after the BS flak i got for it and now seeing EVERYONE saying everything i said years ago. People saying i just had a vendetta. What changed? He actually had a ok season about on par with his averages but something changed that let more people see through his bullshit. I am just shocked it took some so long to see through his BS and his average play and above average antics.

:trash:

He's known for running through arm tackles... He's not a bruiser but why do we have to have a bruiser? This guy is an all around back, which is what we need...
