Inter-division games are always tough but next year it will be even more so. The 49ers an emerging threat. They won't give the Seahawks two guaranteed wins again next year.

Hating the 49ers will always be second nature to a true Seahawk fan, but you have to admit: Kyle Shanahan/Jimmy Garappolo are far more tolerable and easier to respect than Colin Kaepernick/Jim Harbaugh.

amazing how a defunct offense suddenly comes to life when they toss in a decent QB, yet years and years of our offense goes by and they cant figure it out.

The NFC West might be turning into the NFC Best again.

As a 9er fan it's just nice to actually have a QB and coach that are willing and able to convert 3 and 5+. For far too many years 3rd and long for 9ers fan were throws well before the sticks with little chances of a being a 1st down and punting the next play.

I've been thinking all year that the Niners aren't nearly as bad as their record. And this streak they are on is opening up some eyes.Good on them. They could have mailed it in with all the injuries and the terrible start but they fight hard every game.

Its good to see this. We had a fun rivalry when it lasted. I have alot of respect for the 49ers organization.

The Rams on the other hand.....

Wow. You are blaming the Seattle offense on Wilson? Wow, just wow......

you misunderstand.

my point is that we already have a good QB and cant figure out how to run an NFL offense.

but a broken team like the niners with no talent can throw in a decent QB and suddenly they are scoring 30+ points with regularity.

its not wilson, its 100% bevell and cable.

That's retarded... RW isn't with no fault... He hasn't shown himself to be a very good first half QB this year... He fumbles, throws picks, is inaccurate, etc in the first half at times... He goes for the long play downfield too much instead of moving the chains... It's on him, too... Can't say it's 100% on someone else when he stinks himself at times in the first half... It's not a sin to say RW stinks at times, too...

You can tell that wilson is desperate and thats why he makes the mistakes he does. he knows our offense is a disaster and that it only moves when he is either running for yardage or making miracle plays.

Mostly agree with that. Wilson seems to spend most of the first half trying to figure what he wants to do. The Seahawks record at halftime this year is 4-8-3. It's nice to have a QB that can come back, but when you rely too much on a big comeback, there will inevitably be two or three games every year where the comeback falls short/runs out of time. The Seahawks have 118 first half points this year, and 224 second half points. That's a very telling statistic. The answers for what is going to work on offense are not coming quickly enough.

True point. I'd figure they'll get a deal done before that happens.

My guess is they get a deal done this offseason but at worst franchise him this year and get it a long-term deal done next offseason.

It's going to come down to how much Jimmy wants and what's the 9ers stance about paying a guy with 7 starts around top QB money.

But this isn't like the Cousins situation where the Redskins don't want to pay Cousins the market rate. I see no issue with the 9ers paying Jimmy G at all but he just might have to wait and put in a full season of work first.

Yeah, I agree. The FO isn't a wreck like the Redskins FO. Either way, SF has a franchise QB.
