That said, the odds of a SEC NCG are pretty slim.

But if the committee is gonna put Alabama in, they should at least make Bama the 3 seed and reward Georgia with the Sugar Bowl instead of the Rose Bowl. At least punish Bama by making them go across the country.

I figure Georgia will be a considerable underdog against either Clemson or Oklahoma. I like our chances better playing in the Sugar Bowl and against an old rival.

Alabama has the most Rose Bowls wins of any Non Pac12/Big10 team and more than the majority of the teams in the Pac12/Big10.

I'll take the Rose over the Sugar all day. Which is funny because when I was a kid, making it to the Sugar Bowl was the goal of the year.
