Ok, I'll take that bet. The only thing the ducks did better was sucking in more games.

Despite UW not running up the score on anyone and having backups in all but like 3 games by the start of the 4th quarter I'm sure they still had more TD's as a team than the ducks did.

UW scored 443 points this year. Ducks score 440. Ducks didn't have their backups in very many games or at least not that they still had a chance to win in.

UW had 58 TD's and gave up just 19 outscoring their opponents 443 to 174. Ducks had 59 and gave up 42 (lol, great new defense) going 440-339.

No TD Tags didn't quite have the season you want to make it out to be there sport.

I sure hope he's around for years to come.

I suspect it's just doing Edwards a solid, but stranger shit has happened. To me Herm Edwards isn't "blockbuster" hire. He hasn't coached in a long time now and is in his 60's. Not really the profile I'm looking for. On the flipside, if Tony Dungy all of a sudden had a coaching itch, I'd hire him in a heartbeat.
