Whats worse is 17 vs 1 in round 1. They just made it much harder for themselves to do the seedings really.

I wish they would get rid of the asinine 1 versus 3 and 2 versus 4 nonsense. I guarantee you a woman came up with that ridiculous idea.

What' the 1 vs. 3 and 2 vs. 4?

In past years, don't they do it so 1 and 2 are in opposite halves, and the 3 and 4 can be placed on either side of the bracket, based on a coin flip?

If you look at past draws, it's inconsistent where the 3 and 4 seeds are placed, from year to year.

I don't care about seeding as much because a few top seeds lose early anyways.
