Saw this page load when I signed into yahoo.com and it appears they are doing one of these on each of the NFL teams in order of how they rank each teams talent Seattle at #6 with the top 5 to come in the following days. But I see this article agrees with me in my debates last year that the Seahawks are aging with the new younger talent not matching the good drafts and free agents they had 5 or 6 years ago.

They have one of the best QBs in the NFL. Why wouldn't they have several runs left in them with a few players replaced here & there?

It all depends on the o-line. The team is talented to get back to the Super Bowl but if the o-line fails again then it's probably another second round and done.

You need more than good QB as a Packer fan i know this. The point of the writer of this article is making is that the core of the team is getting old. Those that are to replace the core are not near as good. The writer says yes they have a run left in them but just how long will it last is the question.

Any run is dead if the o-line stays worst in the league.

You do? The Packers have made the playoffs every year since 2009, haven't they?

And I know he can't do it by himself, but unless the rest of the team is the Indianapolis Colts, the Seahawks & packers are gonna have a shot at the SB.

Yeah, you need a better coach than McCarthy.

Relax. We will know a bit more after week 1.
Seattle had something like 17 different RB's touch the ball last year.
Lacey, Rawls, and Procise should make for an interesting backfield.
I remain confident.

The main point of the article is not so much this year coming up but more in future years for Seattle or how long does Seattle have to be able to make a run. The writers concerns were not so much this year but in future years as the main core on defense is a few years older.

Damn, I wish we were like other teams whose players avoid getting older.
Sux to be us.

All players get older it matters though when the replacements arent as good as the players who are getting older wouldnt you agree?

Easiest answer in the NFL IMO

if Seattle gets Homefield advantage, you can almost punch their ticket to the Super Bowl

if they do NOT, I give them close to a 0% chance of getting to the Super Bowl

Just look at how Russell Wilson performed IN Carolina and IN Atlanta the past 2 seasons in the playoffs

Furthermore, that is not an elite defense on the road in January

Say's who?

Totally agree with that........The position is weak overall in the league, so he's closer to the top than the bottom of course, but thats a guy that did nothing in the Super Bowl win, Lost his team a SB with the worst throw in history, was awful in that home GB win that they should have lost, and was dreadful in both Carolina and Atlanta in his last 2 postseason games

Isn't that true of any team?
Our replacements haven't been able to supplant the starters on most defensive spots. The only spot on the D that should be up for grabs is at RCB.
The O is younger.
How do you think Lacy will do on opening day?

If they stay healthy and play good team defense at the right time, they have as good a chance as anyone in the NFC.
