I understand why people think this, considering the preseason hype for this team.

That being said, how exactly are they "hot"?

Beating Kansas at home, is a good win. But it's not that great. Beating Kansas State at home. Not great.

Other than those two they beat TTU twice and TCU. Lost to ISU and Kansas. Nothing impressive about that stretch.

The reason they have a chance to beat us is the way WE are playing (9-4 since we lost Brash). That being said, they haven't played an elite defense this year since......never. There isn't one elite defensive team in the Big12. With their big man and without a suspension to smart they probably end up a 3 or 4 seed this year. But they are so small down low I find it unlikely they can rebound and pound down low with us.

As a Zona fan I agree. That is a bad draw for a 9 seed.

I still like Arizona by a good margin in that game (assuming Ok st gets by Gonzaga)... but OK St is very dangerous for a 9 seed.

I'd worry about the other team you're gonna be facing in the round of 32. OK ST is a joke.

Agreed. Everyone thinks the West is going to be a cakewalk but there are a ton of really good teams. No region is easy.
