Do any of you guys get the feeling that Ziggy is getting a contract extension before the season since we drafted no edge rushers?


A) Would it be a mistake?

B) Smart Decision?

I am not. I think we wait and see how his year goes since it will be a new scheme. I think it would be a mistake. Dont even know how old the guy is. We can string him along 2 more years at a high salary anyway without any risk.

At this point he knows he can make a lot more than what we are likely to offer if he hits FA. I bet he plays his ass off this year though.

He played in a 34 in college even played some NT. He may not be big enough to play Nose in the NFL, but he should be fine playing 4/4i Tech like Watt does.
