I see your point but the Cowboys this year do not have the same defense as last year. They have lost most of their secondary and I think lost a key piece to injury for this season. Add that to they have one of the toughest schedules I just do see it.

True but in the playoffs they are going to need to stop really good offenses and based on what I see so far (on paper anyway) every playoff contender will have a much better defenses than them. A lot of if's to be honest but I don't see them coming out of the NFC.

He will lose game checks based on the games he did not play in. Since he will have played in this seasons games they can't retroactively take the money.
