allowed a sack in his career according to him in his draft interview.

Scored a 40/50 on the Wonderlic and can play center as well.

I think that was probably a better pick than Glenn.

The only offensive lineman that needs to be a brain surgeon is the center.

scoring high and having a good work ethic at least gurantees that they guy is not going to eat himself into oblivion. He'll be a good player. Barring injury they're set at RG for years. Plus, they totally cockblocked Baltimore with that pick which is just an added bonus.

Last year Wisconsin had 3 lineman drafted and all were good enough too start day 1 as rookies.

Paul A said he's the backup-center as well. You want your OL to grade out high, not just your center...all of them. Sure, the C makes most of the line-calls, but you still want smart guys across the line that can think fast and process those calls without a second thought.

I would have loved DeCastro. But, this is not a bad pick by any means. I think the Bengals had him graded right near DeCastro (heck, maybe above?) and knew they could get him plus an additional pick by moving down. Good job by them.

If the bengals did it, then its wrong.... it just happens that it was nearly impossible not to get a good player at this point, so even they couldn't screw that up.

If a dude somehow gets to go to an all girl school and finds a date to the prom, do we really need to tell him "good job"

Hell yeah. If he's a dude, and can get them to allow him to go to an all-girls school....good job by him!

Cleveland was able to screw up. I absolutely cannot believe Weedon was taken at 22. They could have had him in the 3rd round. Such a wasted pick by the Browns.

the error in their thinking is that they can take a so-so QB to replace their so-so QB.
they were afraid someone would snag weedon.

but hey, it seemed to work out for us taking Dalton in the second round.

I have watched a little tape on on Weedon since being selected by the Browns, and he looks NOTHING like Dalton did in college. Weedon would have been a 5th round pick or later last year easy. Should have been a 3rd or later this year.
